Pros:

- The shiny new Mach X baskets are fantastic.
- The course map at hole one is nice.
- The bench at hole one is also nice.

Cons:

Yikes...

- The tee pads while they are in fact, concrete are way way too small.
- The tee signs are rather...odd. Basically, they are full color photos of the hole from the tee pad vantage point with a giant arrow graphic pointing to the basket. This is nice and all but so is hole lengths. Honestly, I am not sure how I feel about this.
- #1 basket is in dead center field of a ball diamond.
- #2 basket is in dead center field of a second ball diamond.
- I really think it's quite cool how almost all of the holes play over a walking path.
- #3 and #9 share a basket for some odd reason. Basically, 9 is a shorter version of 3. I don't get it...'
- Navigation is an utter disaster on some of the holes. Take a photo on your smart phone of the course map or something else otherwise you're going to spend a lot of time wandering the park.
- The tee signs for 5 and 6 are gone.
- I really like how #7 is a tight wooded fairway running parallel to a 4' tall fence along the park edge. That means newb hyzers and errant throws kicking off of a tree headed to the left will almost certainly fly right over the fence.
- #8 has the same issue with the fence. Yay!
- I also enjoyed the rather absurdly long walk from #9 basket back to where I parked which was what, a good quarter mile?

Other Thoughts:

This is clearly a case of a park or township putting in a disc golf course because hey, DISC GOLF! The park is not well suited for a course - even a 9 holer. These baskets ought to be pulled and sold to someone else who can actually put them to good use. The only DG'ers you're going to see here are the occasional course bagger (such as myself) or some random hucker with nothing better to do. What you won't see are TD's running things like Ace Race's, Ice Bowls and so on. I really wish Blair Township would have put as much time, effort and money into this course as they did on their really snazzy playground in the same park.

Also, I noticed that according to the course map on hole 1 that Dueces Wild was designed by "professionals" and while I refuse to name said "professional" course designers here I encourage Blair Township to get their money back. Whatever amount they spent on this "professional" design was way way too much.
