Pros:

decent tee pads friendly people

Cons:

No challenge almost every hole is the same hole. some short, some long but almost all the same shot. never needed more than 2 discs to play it.

Other Thoughts:

Unlike the other course at this vacility the tee pads are very nice if yr a beginner this course could present some challenges, with several holes having out of bounds areas on them. if you are a seasoned player not much of a challenge here better courses in the surrounding areas

Pros:

- Diverse shot requirements
- Trash/Recycling bins on most holes
- Bench Seating on most holes
- Friendly owner!
- Tee Signs on every hole (all accurate and showing OB)
- OB is marked on course
- Well Maintained
- Clear lanes on all holes
- Tee Pads feel good and are intact (concrete)

Cons:

- Some tee pads are below surrounding ground can become wet or flooded depending on rain or season.
- Drop zone pads have odd footing (may be intentional for difficulty but rubber pad and bumpy turf in a wood frame)

Other Thoughts:

This course will test your 300ft+ game. Whether it's 280ft with a flight uphill pin placement or a 500ft+ uphill par 5 you will have to bring your A game.

All wooded and more open than their other course but still very technical. You will need tight hyzer flips and turn overs/forehands. You will need distance control and accuracy.

This definitely plays to an advanced+ skill level but is still very fun for intermediates and beginners as well I would imagine. The course owner Alex is very friendly and down to earth and will always keep you updated on course conditions or changes.

This is a must play course in the L/A area of Maine. If you are in the area or planning on being in the area, make a stop and play this course!

Great change of pace 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 22, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

A very fun challenging new course which compliments the heavily wooded and hilly demon, The devil is a much longer and more open course with less elevation. There are no super easy holes as you would expect from a 5000 ft course. Most holes are about 300 feet with well defined fairways, tastefull OB keeps you very honest. This course will be a gem with some fine tuning and a chance for grass to grow. It made me think on every shot and use my whole bag.

Cons:

Brand new course so there are some beautifying left to be done. There are a few slippery pads but those can be easily remediated.

Other Thoughts:

Fantastic for opening weekend. Can't wait to see this place grow

Sneak Peek 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 16, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

I was not supposed to be on the course yet, it doesn't open until the 21st of October. (Oops) but here are my first impressions from that little sneak peek-

Tees are great! All tees are consistent, beautiful concrete.
A lot of holes (as when I played) had a bench, trash can and bag hook. I'm sure when the course is actually openned they'll all have those amenities.
Although there isn't signage up yet, the course was pretty easy to navigate. Most baskets had an arrow hanging underneath pointing to the next tee.
Fairways are distinct and well thought out, every target is visible from its tee.
Good use of terrain. Hills and gullies throughout, less aggressive than their other course.
Not sure what the pars are yet but I would guess mostly 3s, two holes could be 4s.
Defined OB on the holes. Another great aspect of this course is the little white marker flags used to show out of bounds areas on holes.

Beautiful dirt work on the course. Alex and anyone helping him did a fantastic job sculpting the new holes!

Cons:

The rough can be pretty angry on a couple of holes. I lost a poorly shot mid into some cast off stumps along hole 6(?)

Other Thoughts:

Again, I wasn't supposed to be playing this course yet. I went for an early morning round and only had a $10 to drop in the honor box ($5 for one round here). After finishing my round on the original course, it didn't look like there was anyone up and about yet so I went poking around to see all the work that had been done on the new track. Hole one begs to be crushed and i was sucked into throwing them all. It wasn't until I had finished my round that I met Alex outside and he let me know that I wasn't supposed to play it yet.

Sorry about jumping the gun.. but excellent work, man!
