Pros:
Concrete tee pads
Actual disc golf baskets
Attempted use to create different shots
Cons:
Tee pads are dual use. Each tee pad also had a permanently affixed exercise equipment for pull ups, stationary bicycle, etc. However, with the short holes, not much of a run up is really needed.
Hole 1 and 9 throw over or around significant playground and shelter area.
Other Thoughts:
As I completely came across this by accident on way to relatives, I was very excited this small farm community of 600 even had baskets. When I stopped I wasn't even expecting them to even had marked tees let alone a map and concrete tees. I think it is awesome that such a small town is trying to introduce disc golf to the residents.
This course was NOT put in by a (at least serious) disc golf player. Tee boxes are cramped. Holes 1 and 9 are downright dangerous. I didn't even throw them.
If you look at it as this is playground equipment for kids to start throwing Frisbees at objects that catch, then it fits the intended role. Or, something to work on short game. Anything else and you will be disappointed.
