This is an old Ball golf course that is wide open.
Good course for beginners or people looking to get some practice driving without having to worry about trees. The tees are concrete and the park is very well maintained, but in a not so 'well maintained' neighborhood.
-OPEN FOR WINTER

-Goose crap everywhere in the summer
-not enough diversity in the holes, most are just huck and putt holes without any technical side to them
-The neighborhood could be better, I've seen some odd things and people when playing this course
-The walk from hole 7 to hole 8 is a little confusing - you need to walk back towards the parking lot

This course is nothing amazing, it's good for working on drives because it is wide open. The course is open in winter so that's always a plus. Nothing really stands out to make this course great, but then again it really isn't that bad either...

Good for working on distance because the holes are open and somewhat long. It is hard to loose a disc.

Many of the holes are boring holes. Not much variety. Tons of bird poop every where. Shady part of town.

Very wide open..good for chucking and working on your distance..not too technical if you feel like playing a casual round of frolf..I come here sometimes if Dretska or Brown deer are crowded..

so much goose poop..at least it doesnt smell because they eat mostly grass..not very well kept..layout is a little confusing..

Easy to get lost after the first 9..follow the bridge to the other side of the park..If you got a 450ft flick in ya, youll have some fun out here!

Very well maintained course by the city. Like previously stated it used to be a city golf course in the past so it feels like you are playing a golf course. Very VERY open. Perfect for learning on(albeit long) and PERFECT for practicing driving. Love that fact that it is nearly empty during the day except for a picnic here and there. Major PRO point is that it is IN Milwaukee. Truly the ONLY disc golf course in the city. What a shame Milwaukee.

I notice that the pics show the old gravel tees, but all are now nice cement ones.

Being very open can be a plus, and sometimes a CON. For variety it's a CON. Kind of in a shady part of town but oh well, it's the ONLY course in Milwaukee proper...did I mention that already?

This is my go to course when I just want to get out and play when in Milwaukee and don't want to drive 10 to 20 miles for the next available course. Great for beginners to just chuck discs and others to practice the basics on without worrying about losing a disc.

UPDATED 7/13/09: Pretty good maintenance as of late. Great new signs up with hole number, yardage, and next pin locations. Bumping up rating to 3.5

Concrete tee pads; a few relatively challenging/interesting holes (2, 4, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 17); usually very few other players are usually out; a safe beginners course in that you are very unlikely to lose a disc or make frequent trips into the woods for mis-throws

Several very boring holes (most holes besides the ones I mention above are basically nothing between you and the basket, flat, and monotonous); goose droppings EVERYWHERE - avoid on a wet day!; grass is often outnumbered by weeds; somewhat unsafe neighborhood although I've had no problems; large groups often occupy areas that are very close to being in play

I've played this course about 5 times. It gets the job done, but just doesn't stack up to other courses in the area. Why have I played it 4 times since the first, you ask? It may be your best alternative on very busy days at other courses, tournies at other courses, or if you'd like to introduce someone to the game as I did this past round. I'm giving this course a 2.0 because its definition is 'average' and that's about what Dineen is.

Beginner friendly. Not very challenging. Not many obstacles. Some holes are quite long (12). A fun course where you'll lower your score and hopefully pick up a few birdies.

People hitting golf balls! TONS of bird s**t everywhere. Don't wear sandals. Should probably bring a friend or two once it's later in the day.

Great place to teach someone the game. If you're looking for a challenge though, look elsewhere.

Good variety of long and short holes, open and through the trees. Looks like a fun course, and too bad we couldn't play the whole thing.

Wind was a bit of a factor, and I don't know how long ago this was converted from a 3 par golf course, but there were still people there hitting golf balls around, so look out.

Disclaimer: Due to time constraints we were only able to play the front 9 on our tour of eastern Wisconsin in '07 - probably worth another look.

Well maintained with some facilities..Should be a birdie fest, but doesn't always work out that way..Ha!
Mainly open course good mix long & short..Windy days will work you here..!
