DISC heaven at Fall Creek! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:May 3, 2020 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This course has a little bit of everything, open full pump holes, both moderately and heavily wooded holes, a good dose of water holes, and even a fair amount of terrain to deal with. Nice size concrete Blue and Red tees and "A" and "B" pin locations on the first 18 holes. Then Gold and Blue tees on holes 19-27. There is also a practice basket by the super sized, awesome course sign board! The front nine is mostly open to moderate woods, with a few holes in some dense woods along beautiful Fall Creek. The back nine is fully in the heavy woods and also has several challenging holes along the creek. The "new back nine" is an ass kicker. Long holes, in the woods, some par 4's. It IS a challenge! Tons of big beautiful trees, lots of wildlife, this course is a unique pleasure to see, experience and play!

Holes vary from tight technical to long bomb, straight shots and doglegs abound. With Blue and Red tees for each hole, plus "A" and "B" pins too, it gives you four different layouts to enjoy. Players from Rec to Advanced to Open will find a challenging and enjoyable game here.

Easy to get to with plenty of parking, there's a big double sign-board near the first hole. Good tees signs and a nice flow on the course with only a few short walks between holes. A nice place to come play in the shade during the hot summer months!

Cons:

The course is subject to some flooding, especially during the spring. But given its' location along Fall Creek, this is not unexpected! Bring the bug juice! No drinking water. Bring your own. Bathrooms are only available in the Church during hours they are open, but they are considering adding a portalet or two.

Other Thoughts:

This is a very nice course and will only get better and better over time as more benches and other refinements are made. The addition of 9 holes in the "back forty" to make it a 27 hole layout takes this course over the top. Wish they could all be like this!
