Pros:
- good variety of shots required

Cons:
- only 9 holes

Other Thoughts:
Of all the courses within one hour driving radius, I like Derletal best. It's located in a beautiful park and has a good variety of holes, although it would greatly benefit from a back 9. It's missing really long holes, so it's not the course you go to throw big bombs - that would be Neuss - but the elevation change makes it more interesting than the other courses in the area.
