Pros:
All essentials- concrete tees, 9 baskets plus a practice basket, effective signs, course map at kiosk. Plenty of parking.
I have played many of these basic city park 9-holers. What makes this one stand out is its length, and a good spread of nearly every distance between 250' to 475'. Mostly open gives newer players a chance to work on distance and understanding disc flight without being punished or losing a disc. And there are just enough trees and a small creek to make it interesting.
The last 3 holes also use elevation as an added challenge. Throw in the wind I had to deal with and this course played harder than it looked.
Cons:
Design makes the most out the available land, but is clearly divided- 6 flatter holes on one side of the ball fields, a walk, then 3 more holes with some incline on the other side, then a moderate walk back to the car.
No holes were super memorable just your basic city park stuff.
Other Thoughts:
I always recommend taking a picture of the map, but be sure to pay attention where holes 7-9 are as they are separated from the first 6 a bit
Appropriate small city 9-hole park style course. And a bonus is that that it is very close to another 9-hole course less than a mile down on the same street that is more a technical wooded city park course, making these two 9's a good complement to each other for 18 unique holes.
2.5 is average, nothing outstanding, but definitely has everything you need. I have it about 2.25, but give it a bump because there are no gimmees and there is a another 9 holes just a minute drive down the road.
