Pros:

Very well marked. Very easy navigation. Friendly owners. Away from other campground activities. Designed by Papa Jack himself. 3-5 holes over water (depending on how you decide to attack them (see below). Some elevation change (but not much). Each hole is unique. Some risk/reward decisions. Rubber mat pads are fine for the lengths of these holes. Not crowded the day I went (Sunday afternoon - had the course to myself). Apparently they do hold "tournaments" on special occasions. There is a store there which sells food, novelties, and discs.

Cons:

Pretty short (longest hole is 286 feet). $5 to play (all day). Map for #3 & #4 is not quite representative (only a problem on your first round). Silly mando oh hole #9 just to keep it from being a short hole.

Other Thoughts:

Hole #1 plays to a basket in a gully protected by a row of trees along the pond. You can either go around the trees to the left (good option for LHBH) or try to crash through the trees on the right (aim for hole #2 tee and curve it just before; good option for RHBH). I tried both ways and got 3 and 2 respectively.

Hole #2 throws from the edge of the pond over the water to the basket which is beneath a tree set well away from the pond. There are two baskets in view; the leftmost is your target, the other one is #4's basket. How much water you need to clear depends on how straight a line you want to take. If you can throw 200 feet straight then you can go straight at the basket without fear.

Hole #3's tee is actually off #2's fairway (which is not what the map shows). You throw to a basket which is on the downslope of a small hill hidden from view from the tee pad. You can scope out the basket location as you walk from #2's tee to the basket so you are informed.

Hole #4's tee pad is near #3's basket (not on top of the hill as the map says). Too bad as the top of the hill seems like more fun but I didn't try it. It's a straight shot and the pond really shouldn't come into play though it may intimidate the inaccurate.

Hole #5 throws across an arm of the pond to a basket on a peninsula. Plenty of grass around the basket so the danger is minimal. Pretty easy, I hit the basket (well, the pole) on my very first attempt.

Hole #6 is the most interesting hole. The basket is across the pond (which has trees along the edge) and behind a second row of trees. An ace here would be an accomplishment. The map shows a flight path on the left but you have to go around even more trees and I didn't see a lane. This is one hole that you'd have to skip if you couldn't throw 200 feet.

Hole #7 (I uploaded a picture) has a tee pad near the dolphin fountain. It is unexciting - just a throw up a slight hillside to a basket guarded by some trees at the top (slight right dogleg).

Hole #8 throws across the completely unbusy road into the camp to a basket down the hill with one tree in the line of sight (not really an obstacle). It's the shortest an easiest hole but you will need to scout it to see the basket (not visible from the tee).

Hole #9 throws to a basket which has a nice group of small trees protecting it. However, to make the hole non-trivial there is a silly mando which has you throwing about 100 feet in one direction and then turning 90 degrees to the left to throw the other 160 feet. I understand that without the mando it would be a very trivial hole but I wish they would move the tee pad back and up the little hill and get rid of the mando. An ace here would be a miracle especially for a left-hander.

Overall a fun course - I had a good time and wasn't bored. You can go around in 25 minutes without much trouble.
