Pros:

This course is placed into a pretty little city park that is acre after acre of lush mowed grass. There is a small wetland area and a large pond in the park as well.

The course has nine baskets with two tee positions per basket. The tees are marked 1-9, and then 10-18 to give a back nine. I noticed that the map doesn't agree with the tee pads markings for some of the pairs.

Since the course is wide open without a single tree in play, the second set of tees changes only the distance, generally adding about 100' to the hole. For the Hole 2/11 pair the longer tee brings the wetland somewhat into play, and for the Hole 5/14 pair the longer tee brings the pond very much into play.

Rubber teepads and simple stakes with hole number for signs. Navigation was simple as you could see every basket and tee as you walked counter-clockwise through the park. There were even a couple of next tee signs.

If you shoot for the pin on Hole 14 the water carry is around 300'. But you can bail out right anywhere along the pond if you want.

I found the course very simple and straightforward until the wind came up late in my round. This is a wide open field and a 20 mph certainly adds challenge where there was little before!

Cons:

This is a one dimensional course. Throw a 200 - 300' drive (front nine) or a 300 - 400' drive (back nine) across a flat field with no trees. Putt and repeat.

Rubber teepads were uneven and lumpy. Better than nothing but they could use some flattening out.

The wetland around Hole 1 & 2 is easily avoidable, but a school group was there when we arrived and had put a couple of discs in there. It looked pretty nasty and should be avoided!

Other Thoughts:

I played both tees at the same time. There are close enough together that you can drive first from the long tee, then from the short tee. That way you get to play all 18 holes without making the circuit twice.

Don't Go out of your way 2+ years

Pros:

Good Baskets, Good tee pads. Nice park, easy to get to.

Cons:

Boring shots, flat, no obstacles. There is a pond that just gets in the way rather than being an obstacle. Good place to lose a disc.

Other Thoughts:

Don't go out of your way to play this course. But it does have baskets unlike CMC and better tee pads than craig.
