Pros:

* Beautiful scenery
* Great used of trees to create defined fairways
* Phenomenal use of elevation.
* Tees and baskets blend well with scenery to preserve the natural beauty.
* Beginner-friendly, but requires good shots to score well.
* Trees provide shade in summer, shelter in winter.
* Elevation enhances exercise.
* Textured concrete tee pads

Cons:

* No restroom or drinking water on site (available 1/4mile away.)
* Could use markers on baskets to point first-time players to next tee.

Other Thoughts:

This is a beautiful little haven of a disc golf course tucked into a previously disused park. Everything about the course design enhances the enjoyment of playing disc golf. It allows experienced players to play with beginners and reduces the advantage from distance to emphasize the advantage in skill.

Gem State 9-Hole Gem 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 30, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

Elevation change on each hole

Shot shaping required

Lots of trees that are used well in the design

Good drive needed to score a 2 on each hole

Concrete tee pads

Nice Prodigy baskets

Good green design with a decent size area cleared around each basket

Map at parking area - Flow is good, but photo of the map needed to be consulted in a couple spots

Extra work put into creating trails from tee to green and from hole to hole

Course loops back to starting area

Cons:

Tee posts only give hole number

Tee posts blend into the background and are not easy to spot when looking for the next tee

More RHBH friendly overall than lefty BH or RH forehand

Other Thoughts:

The best pitch and putt course I have played, the elevation changes set it apart from the rest

A 3.0 rating is tops for a 9-hole course for me and this course deserves the 3.0, fun factor is high for this one

Looking forward to returning next summer when I have time to go around a few times

Highly recommended stop for anyone in the area, I think this course can be enjoyed by players of all skill levels
