Fun Woods Holes, Quick Shady Loop 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 23, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good descriptive signage and easy-to-follow flow.

Good tee boxes and baskets, wooden bridges added in several places to help with (sometimes dry) creek/run-off crossings.

Multiple pin placements on some holes and several cool/interesting basket locations on rocks, hills, side hills, with cross ties surrounding them, etc.

Very fun lines to throw in the woods, some holes with options from the tee.

Most of the holes play mostly in the shade.

Cons:

The course is definitely short. No "two shot" holes. All are reachable by many, if not most, experienced players.

The later holes that play around the church building are not as interesting as the first 12 holes or so.

Other Thoughts:

I enjoyed this course quite a bit. Shot-shaping in the woods is one of my favorite kinds of golf and the first 2/3 of this course is basically that. There are ace runs, possible forehand lines, and plenty of hyzer-flips.

Nice little private course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 28, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Tee pads on a few holes
Course is marked enough to figure it out once you find hole 1.

Cons:

tees are being worked on, so there are some tees that are hard to figure out right now
Some of the holes are very short

Other Thoughts:

I talked to the club president, this course is being worked on to make it better constantly as they get money.

They already have a few tee pads and are working on more challenging locations for several holes.

In general, there are both long wide open shots and some very tight technical short holes.

Even working on adding 9 more holes on the east side of the property.

I had fun playing this course and recommend playing it if you are in the area. It is a good private FREE course to play.

Alternate 18 Hole Layout 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 5, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

Now 18 holes! We were lucky to run into some friendly & dedicated local disc golfers who took us through the new 18-hole layout. The older, home-made baskets have been moved into the heavily, HEAVILY wooded areas to the south. Newer, all-metal baskets take their place on the original nine holes.

Cons:

Although teepads and pathways for the newly added holes are marked with orange spray paint, one could easily get lost in the woods. Highly recommend contacting the locals if interested in playing the 18-hole layout (look for "Eagle Hill Disc Golf Course" on Facebook).

Other Thoughts:

Less than a mile away from the famous Pete's Place restaurant in Krebs--home of Choc Beer! Why not take an Oklahoma disc golf/microbrew road trip?

Fun yet challenging 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 18, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice signs at the tee to let you know how the hole plays. Easy to follow. Next to a church, so parking isn't a problem. very well kept.

Cons:

The baskets seem to be a permanent home-made type of basket.

Other Thoughts:

The course consists of mainly par 3's, however the use of the terrain is excellent to provide a couple par 4's. although there were a few extremely short holes, they made them par 2, so you can still play competitively. FUN COURSE!
