Pros:
Very nice basket
Best Tee pads I have seen on a 9 hole course
Cons:
No tee signs (yet)
No tree's (yet)
Other Thoughts:
1st off, I am thrilled that a small town wanted to put in a disc golf course. I just wish they would do it right when they do this.
This is literally a course in a cow pasture without the Bull S*&%.
You tee off on hole 1 on the north west side of the playground. You are throwing over a wash that has some high grass in it.
Hole 2's tee pad does not face the basket, I kept looking and looking to figure it out, but no, that basket to the right is what our throwing too. (FYI, in the pictures I posted, the basket is usually in the center of the shot, this shows you how far off some of these giant tee pads actually are)
Look, a tree near the fairway on hole 3, nope, not throwing anywhere near it.
Hey, if you overthrow #4 you will be in some trees, on the other side of a barbed wire fence.
You actually have a tree near the fairway on hole 5, but it might only come into play if your left handed or throw forehand.
Look, some more trees near #6 fairway. Nope, don't even come close to coming into play
What the hell is up with hole 7? Did the city install the hole backwards? Was it to actually get a couple of trees almost in the way of a right handed players? Seriously, the basket for hole 7 is like 50ft past basket #6 (I actually threw to the wrong basket when playing 6) You walk off to the right, throw back to 7's basket, then walk back past 7's tee pad to get to hole 8's tee pad. It's like they put the basket where the tee was suppose to be and the tee where the basket was suppose to be.
Then 2 more boring holes back to the other side of the playground.
At least they have brand new bathrooms in the park. Wait, what. They are locked and you have to use the port a Johns.
Would I play here again? Heck no. I will say one thing about this course, the sidewalk going around the course looks like it has lights. This course might be a good course to set up for night golf. If you do that, maybe I would consider playing here again.
Skip this course, there are several better courses in the area that are much more fun to play. .
