Pros:
Beautifully maintained park. Thoughtful and creative layout.
Cons:
It's in Michigan and I live in Kentucky.
Other Thoughts:
We were in Michigan for vacation and I snuck out to play this course several times since it was nearby. East Jordan is a cool little town and this course is a gem. It's relatively short, even for a rec player but it challenges nearly all of your game. Technical holes that take advantage of limited space. Beautifully maintained tee pads, signage, etc. not a single piece of garbage anywhere.
I will also say, the undergrowth was thick in places and the first time I went into the rough I was expecting a challenge to find my disc, but with most of it being ferns and not the thick jungle I would have found back home in KY, I found all of my discs in a matter of seconds, which was awesome.
I also got my wife and 75 year-old father-in-law out for a round and it was a great place for them to play as beginners.
