Pros:
+ Beautiful giant full-color course sign at the beginning, You tee off for #1 on either side of the sign.
+Full course maps on the top of every basket with the next hole highlighted, I have never seen this strategy before and it was very cool.
+Clean, well maintained park.
+Nice baskets
+ Navigation is a breeze
Cons:
-Very short holes (7 par 2s)
-Not a whole lot of shot shaping required
-Tees are dirt (except for #1)
-You basically play basket to basket which could become an issue if the park is busy
Other Thoughts:
First things first, this is not a destination course. That being said, if you are in the area, by all means play it. This is an excellent spot to work on your short game and it would be a very non-frustrating course for beginners and kids.
This was an Eagle Scout project and I think as far as making your community a better place, this hits the nail on the head. Anything that brings disc golf to an under-served community (Next course 15 miles away) is a great thing in my book.
