Pros:

I give it ***'s its got these nice HUGE stone tee signs. giving it a super, "This course is not going anywhere feel"
9 holes in a user friendly fashion.
decent tees
decent baskets
nice college campus course compared to what I know... it serves its purpose, you can play a round in between classes or lunch, if you have the time.

Cons:

None....It is what it is.... definitely made for the new players that need a fair chance to learn.
no elevation change... get a bobcat and make some hills...

Other Thoughts:

I was in a rush, and played it about 40 mins... I enjoyed it and thought of Miami's missing course... :(

Pros:

This course is on the campus of Eastern Illinois University. It's located in the athletic section and plays between several fields. I saw several groups of college kids playing the day I was there.

This course has some of the coolest tee signs i've ever seen. They are rocks that have been engraved with hole descrption. It has distance and par on it. They are very impressive.

The tee pads are long, flat, and roughed up nicely.

There is a garbage can at every tee.

There is a good variety of distances with 2 par 4's for adv/pro players. I was able to throw some bombing drives on a few holes. You could also practice rollers out there too.

This course is very beginner friendly with nicely mown grass. There is no where to lose a disc.

Cons:

The course is very flat and open.

The tee signs and garbage cans have been installed on the back of the tee pads. They didn't really bother me but some players may find them bothersome and in the way.

Other Thoughts:

Although the course isn't awesome it's a great setting being right on campus.

I did not get a ticket parking on campus but this may be an issue.

Nice simple course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 18, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

Course map and scorecard provided at front.
Nice maps, carved into stone, at each tee.
A nice range of distances (par 3-5)
Nicely mowed grass, very few rough areas
A few interesting tree obstacles

Cons:

No elevation changes
No complex doglegs
No convenient parking
No alternate tees
Very few rough areas

Other Thoughts:

The course is basic, but is a good start. If another 9 holes were added, it could be a really good course.
