Plays in a mixed woods and open floodplain area skirting the Vermillion River. Trees affect the flight paths on 7 of the 9 holes with 2 wide open. Recommend playing all 18 tees alternating between white and red tee every hole to play an intermediate length 5430 ft layout. River mainly comes into play on hole 3. So walk over to look where it is before heading to tee because you can't see it from there. If it's been raining heavily recently, good chance course could be soggy for a few days.
From most areas of the Twin Cities, head to Hwy 52 and go south to 200th St. Turn right (west), go about 5 miles to Biscayne and turn right (north). Go a few blocks and turn left into park immediately after crossing the Vermillion River bridge.
From south of the Minnesota River and west of I-35, get to 160th St (Dakota County) and head east. Turn right (south) on Hwy 3 to 197th St in Empire. Turn left (east), go about a mile and turn right (south) on Biscayne. Park comes up quickly on your right just before the river bridge.
