Good balance of wooded and open shots drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 27, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

-lots of wooded and open holes
-tees are in good shape
-some challenging holes with uphill and downhill throws
-lots of shade for hot summer rounds
-for the most part play is away from where people would be waking so you don't have to worry about hitting non players.

Cons:

-no map of course at beginning
-next tee locations are not always visible on current signage
-some signage missing

Other Thoughts:

Overall I had a great time playing the course. There is not much length but the terrain is varied and challenges you to throw many shot types.
It was hard for me to get around as a first timer but if that is the only negative I will take it. Would play again.

One if the best courses in the area in design and upkeep. Great mixture of lhbh, straight, rhbh, slightly open to very tightly wooded holes. Never get that "I wish this course would end feeling".

Cons:

Not many. Not super challenging

Other Thoughts:

Course needs some tournaments would be a great place tons of parking shelters and restrooms one shelter even has a concrete stage

Great course in a great park 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Nov 19, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

UPDATE: I figured it is time to update my review of this course from a couple years ago. There have been many recent improvements to this already great course. There are not any holes that share baskets anymore. This course is now 21 complete holes, 20 with concrete tee pads. The recent upgrades include several added baskets and tee pads. When I first seen the new course map I was hoping that they hadn't just stuck extra holes in and ruined the course. After getting to play it today that is not the case at all. The redesigned course is just as great, if not better, than the original. With this new set-up, tournaments could now be hosted here. Make a point to stop by in you are around, you will not be disappointed!

Cons:

A couple of the newly installed tee pads are a bit short, hole 11 comes to mind for sure.

Other Thoughts:

You should definitely give this course a play if you are in the area, or feel the need to travel to play a new course. I live 15 min away, shoot me a message if you want someone to play with, maybe I will be available.
