Pros:
Well thought out course with logical mandos, good flow from hole to hole, fantastic use of elevation and OB areas, maximizes the use of the mature trees, and has a decent variety of shots for a 9-hole course.
There's not much length here, but the course makes solid use of the available area in this little park. The variety is nice with straight shots, choose your line lefty/right holes, a little bit of threading through mature trees, and adjusting for uphill and downhill shots. The rubber teepads are in good shape and the signage is excellent (though #8's sign was down when I played).
It plays quick (less than 30 minutes if you're intentional about it). I played it twice through in less than an hour when there was nobody else in the park.
There's a couple of pavilions in the park and a nice little playground if you have the kids with you.
Cons:
Length isn't a factor on many holes. Intermediate or better players will be throwing 4-6 birds on this layout. The mandos and OB roads/fences keep you honest with some forced lines, but they aren't THAT forced and still somewhat forgiving.
There's the potential to throw into two private yards (holes 1, 2, and 9) and onto a ballfield (8). You come close to some picnic areas/pavilions on two holes (5 and 8) and you throw over the small one-lane road through the park on 2 holes and parallel to the road on 4 others.
The valley/ditches that cross the course can fill with leaves in the fall making them deceptively deep. Just watch your step!
I'm not a fan of the Monkey Trap baskets, since I seem to get more splashouts/bounceouts on them, but they're still a solid basket.
Other Thoughts:
The entry into the park isn't that odd. Follow the "Enter" arrow from the ball gold parking lot off the road and you're soon driving down the road the winds through the course. It loops around the park and deposits you at a parking lot next to the course sign and #1's tee.
A small hidden gem just off of I-44. Made for a fun little pit stop on a road trip. The course had a surprising variety of holes, sneaky elevation, and was fun to play. It maximized the available land and would be a great course for pitch/putt rounds or one-disc challenges.
