Pros:

+ Large course map before tee one.
+ Tee signage is first rate. Very informative with routes and footage.
+ Multiple pin placements on most all holes.
+ Practice basket by parking lot.
+ Ample parking if course is busy.
+ Discatcher baskets are in great shape.
+ Large concrete tee pads are some of the best I have ever thrown from. Level with the ground and a finish made for throwing disc golf.
+ Ample trash cans scattered around course.
+ Benches on about every other hole.
+ Beautifully maintained turf.
+ Front nine is some what technical with a few very fun wooded holes.
+ Back nine let's you air it out amongst many majestic beautiful trees.
+ After hole 10 a short walk to parking lot to grab goodies if need be.
+ On back nine roadways encompass course making for challenging O.B.
+ Enough bomber holes to keep the big arms happy.
+ Hole 13 on long placement is a great challenging island hole.

Cons:

- Course plays along and over roadways a few times so take care.
- Can become somewhat busy during prime throwing hours.
- During warm seasons mosquitos can be very annoying.

Other Thoughts:

This course will challenge most any disc golfer at whichever level. This is a very well thought out course done professionally from design to signage to tee pads. This course is a must play when traveling through Kansas. Also just a short distance away are two other great courses. Warner, a top rated 9 hole course and Tuttle Creek a quality 18 hole course known by many. If you have the chance check out all three you won't be sorry. The city of Manhattan, Ks should be proud of the quality of disc golf courses they have brought to the midwest.

When talking disc golf courses Manhattan, Ks has got it going on.

wind y and tight 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 29, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Great variety of hole shapes and some real intimidating lines. The flow is excellent and easy to navigate even without local or map.

Cons:

No indication from tee of pin placement. But I will say most of the time it was pretty evident.

Other Thoughts:

The course had some well thought out fairways that make you commit to your shot. I can only imagine how tough it will look and be after all the trees have leaves. If you are in the area this is the course to play.

awesome course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 24, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

beautiful 18 hole course with all kinds of variety.
Well layed out with the first 9 holes being nearly all tunnel shots that are very challenging and fun.
Back 9 holes are gorgeous long drive plays with fewer trees but they are much larger.

Cons:

i cant even think of anything i didnt like other than i had a little trouble finding the first tee because i had never been there before. would have been nice if there were a few signs directing to hole #1 when you first pull into the park so you can park right next to the first tee.

Other Thoughts:

HIGHLY recommend to any skill level as this course is definently in the Top 3 for me on overall experience. very impressed.

Best Course in Manhattan 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 5, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Course is kept in great condition.
Great signage and map.
Really nice baskets.
Great variety of shots.there are tunnel shots (both tight and very tight), hyzers and an-hyzers, long bombs,S curves. There is OB on several holes that make them play a little bit tougher.
Very reachable pins at some of the placements.
Great variety of teeing off with drivers, fairway drivers, mids, and some putters depending on the basket layout.
multiple pin position on most holes for great variety.
Uses the trees very well.
best tee pads i have ever played on.
has nice benches and trash cans every couple of holes.
more than ample parking.
nice practice basket right at the start of the course.
can access several holes close to the start if its backed up at 1's tee box.

Cons:

No elevation. not the courses fault just where it happens to be.
can get pretty muddy on the front 9 after snow or rains.

Other Thoughts:

This is a great course that offers a challenge to every level of play.
With the variety of pin placements the course can be setup to play pretty long and more difficult for tournaments.
Baskets get rotated monthly so that is nice to have variety.
Definitely check out this course if your in Manhattan.
