Other Thoughts:
~ Steve Brinster has designed a great place for beginners and fun ace runs for experienced players. Built on a flat, wooded area of the park. Comes close to hole #16 on the big course, but is best reached by parking in the back corner of lot #4
~ Wide fairways, new DisCatchers, temporary signage and rubber mats for tees, but judging from the amount of work going on, I'm sure improvements are on the way. Clearly marked trails from basket to tee. Still a lot of low prickers if you stray too far off the fairway. Nice benches being built at each tee (which makes a lot of sense, because if there's any traffic, you're going to have to wait for each hole to clear before you can throw).
~ Some trees to dodge on almost every hole, and a few narrow alleys. Even though they're short, several holes have built in doglegs to the left or right
~ If you know someone interested in learning about disc golf, this is the place to bring them. So much better than a set of baskets around the perimeter of a municipal park. And have them learn during the off-season, when you don't have to pay State Park admission!
