Pros:
9 hole course tucked into a small space in the corner of Ferguson Park. The park also has children's play areas and other amenities.
Navigation here is pretty simple, as the course is about as tiny as a 9 hole course can be. Simple concrete slabs with the hole number and basket direction serve as the signage. Easy enough.
For being super short, there are a few decent lanes and lines to navigate. Granted, it's still all basically short ace runs, but at least you'll have to earn it a little bit. There is a nice rock outcropping around the hole 1/8/9 area as well.
VERY beginner friendly, and a great place to bring people new to the game, kids, or older folks. In that regard, this design is spot on and could easily hook new players.
Cons:
As stated above, the course is SHORT. There is only one hole over 200', and it comes in at just over at 204'. Most players should be able to play this course with just a putter.
When I was here, there was a lot of water retention on the slightly lower section of the course.
The natural tees weren't the best, but I guess they were serviceable enough.
Other Thoughts:
For what it is, and the space available, this is a fine little course. It's certainly not going to challenge most players to anything more than hitting aces, but there are worse things than practicing your putter shots!
Not worth going far out of your way for, but if you're passing by and happen to have two discs in your car, give it a try!
