Nice hills, love the pine smell, trash cans at most baskets, Varying degree of fairways, 23 holes. Rest areas, picnic tables throughout course. Nice lefty handers. I loved the carved out fairways in the woods! Pretty well maintained! Owner was super nice!

Bug spray is a MUST! Id wear long pants if I went there again, only because I didnt always keep it on the fairway and the woods are very thick on the first 6 holes. Alternate holes are a little confusing without a map, grab a map!

Was on vacation fishing and was convinced to play with my cousin, played his discs. I really enjoyed this course, had I died that day I wouldve hated to be the mortician that tried to take the smile off of this face! Id say that this course gave me the bug that bit me again to go home and locate my 20+ year old discs and got me back into the sport again! I have to admit that this is the first time Ive ever paid to play at a course and after playing it, it was worth the $5.00 for the day, in my opinion. I would love to return and play there with MY discs!

Beautiful location, well maintained, technical/interesting/various shots.
Although there aren't concrete tee pads everywhere, the tees aren't eroded or a problem at all.
Garbage cans on every hole.
Pretty good sinage.
Score card with map so you don't get lost.
Alternate holes makes for a different round.

If you throw off the course, it might take awhile to find a disc but it adds to the challenge, just watch your disc.

We played this course during Hayward's Muskie Days so everyone was down at the festival. We ran into 2 other frolfers all day. Probably the most relaxing course I've ever played. The location has a lot to do with my high rating.
The owners are sweet, nice people, doing what they can to maintain the place and I can't complain about that at all, it's a big chunk of land.
I will definately go back whenever possible. Even worth the 3 hour trip for me.

This is a special gem of a course that has been carefully carved through the woods of northern Wisconsin. The course itself is nice and does not have a lot of traffic so you can take your time and enjoy your round. Fiddler's Creek has a little of everything and makes good use of the land. Open shots, downhill shots, uphill shots, tight technical fairways, a little pond on #4 and #5, long holes, short holes. It can be played many different ways thanks to every hole having three tees. The course is well kept and there is very little trash to be found. There was very little action from mosquitoes when I've been there. The owners are nice folks and their shop has a fair selection of discs if you're looking to pick some up. Plus, once the snow hits the ground the course is free to play!

Course has 23 holes that you play as 18. Confused? Well...start by playing the course as normal, once at hole 11 you choose to go to either hole 11 or 11a, each taking you through a completely different path through the woods...either the normal route or the "a" route. Once you finish with hole 15 on either route, the two paths once again join and you finish your round.

There is a mix of tee types. Some cement, some rubber, some Astroturf and some natural. I could care less if the tees are grass or cement, although I know full well that many might care. With cement tees in place I would give this course at least a 4 if not 4.5.

After playing this course a couple times I've found it is helpful to have a spotter in the summer as some of the doglegs are thick wooded areas that have very thick underbrush and thus make finding discs very tough in spots. It is much nicer to play in the spring or fall when the foliage is less thick.
