Pros:
Holes range from 237' up to 401' and a total length of over 2700' making Flewellen Creek DGC a good length for the majority of players. Almost all holes fall under the same risk versus reward design forcing players to choose low scores or dry discs. However, the winding creek is still far enough away from most pins that only an errant shot should get good RHBH players wet.
The concrete pads are fantastic and include the hole numbers, fairway layouts, creek location, and distances all directly in the concrete pad. The information has even been painted (fairway black and creek blue), so you can easily read it, although I wonder how that might stand up to the elements over time. The park has normal amenities, a playground area for the kids and bathrooms. A walking path also moves along the creek, but it only comes into play potentially a few times. I also loved that they ended the course with the longest hole, where many players will need two good shots to ensure a par.
Finally, this piece of land could definitely be expanded to an 18-hole course. It may seem repetitious because holes would be more of the same, but who cares since these are fun, well thought out hole placements.
