Pros:
(1.172 Rating) An open chip-shot course to strive for the 9 down achievement medal.
- BEGINNER FRIENDLY - I brought my older brother and my nephew along to play this one. Both of which have only played a handful of times. It was perfect for them. Almost no chance to get into trouble and enough distance to encourage distance development, until one can start chucking it over 200 feet. Perhaps a bit too short for athletic high schoolers, but the typical student that doesn't play often will be challenged.
- BASICS AMENITIES - This aspect is below average overall, but they did purchase the best baskets on the market, Pro 28 DISCatchers. Natural tees, but thankfully with a few flush pavers to indicate a tee line. Also, adequate tee signage affixed to 4x4 posts. The tee signs only have a number and distance on them, but that was all that was needed on a course like this. No other amenities or extras.
- QUICK PLAY - My three some finished in 31 minutes. First timers with a map should be done in less than 20, perhaps even 15 minutes. The course is very cart friendly.
- MAINTENANCE - The school grounds were in fantastic shape for my appearance and it's likely always this way.

- LACK OF CHALLENGE - I get the idea of wanting to keep the course beginner friendly since this course is located at a school and it will be used by students. However, the bar was set too low in my opinion, and it'll likely not hook any new players. Even par might not even net a 750 rated round. We'll never know, cause it's not like there's ever going to be a tourney here. To have only one hole with a tree in play is not acceptable design on landscapes with this many trees.
- NAVIGATION AND LAYOUT FLOW - I'd like to start off by noting that I doubt any one is getting lost here for any length of time. It's fairly compact and most of the baskets will be seen on the drive in. There are no extra navigational aids between holes. Tee (3) is blind from (2s) basket. Players need to head southwest and over a bridge. Getting to (7) will be confusing as well as tee (8) seems like the most obvious next play. It was also weird seeing (9s) fairway leading back away from the parking area.
- HOLE VARIETY - Eight open holes where any disc and any angle will work to attack the basket. Minimal hole distance variation from 138 feet to 205. Water is seen from the layout, but only comes into play if playing safari golf. The course is super flat too. I played the entire course with 2 discs and really only needed one.
- NATURAL BEAUTY - There are a couple of ponds to gaze at here, plus the maintenance was good, as noted. However, manmade objects are in view the entire time. Baseball field fences and roads can also be hit on very errant throws. Not an inspiring site to work with to begin with, and the fairway designs did not seem to work well with the few good features that were available to use. I scored the course into my bottom ten percent for this aspect.

Other Thoughts:
Seriously don't consider playing here. Any non-bagger that shows up here, takes the risk of crowning a new most boringest course ever played. I only scored it a high 1.0 because I have played courses that are equally boring and have bad baskets, no signage and safety hazards. This is what I like to call a bad passable course. It reminds me of courses like Clint Small MS in Austin, Pensacola State College, Dodgeland MS in central Wisconsin and Lions Field in central Georgia. This site could have delivered a better product while still being compatible for beginners.

Pros:
- Short, sweet pitch and putt great for practicing your short game.
- Good baskets that catch fine and actually kind of nice signs for a school course.
- Layouts easy to follow although, I believe after the 4th or 5th basket you have to walk around to the other baseball field for the rest of the course.

Cons:
- Course plays around a few baseball fields so probably not the best to play during school hours Monday through Friday.
- Short course for school kids to pick up on the sport. Not really worth it if you're a highly rated player. Pretty much a course bagger's course.
- Literally have to park in the same lot that the students park in so again, only have a limited time frame to play this one.
- Grass teepads which are fine but I can see these getting worn down after years of use.

Other Thoughts:
Overall, this isn't the best or the worst course for a school 9er. As always, it's nice to have a place to introduce young people to the sport. School courses usually aren't the easiest to review as they are pretty basic and rarely go above and beyond in terms of course design which is understandable.
