Nothing but an ace race 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 25, 2010 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Nothing but Aces.
No challenging shots.
First nine are well marked.
Catchers are great.

Cons:

Not Challenging.
Gets very boring.
Second set of tee's to make 18 holes is very confusing.

Other Thoughts:

Unless your a beginner or want to waste your time trying an ace race, don't even bother, the drive out to Ottawa metro park is worth it.

Cons:

very short and not really any obsticals aside from a few 5ft high bushes which arnt really obsticals

Beginner Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 9, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

--Every hole has tee signs with numbers and distance, there is no way to get lost here. Also there are 9 new DISCatcher baskets all in place (10 including the practice basket).

--This is a great course for a beginner to learn the game at! Big ace chance on every hole.

Cons:

--This course is very easy. The only hole that really has any challenge is #4, besides that every hole is wide open and under 300 feet with zero elevation change.

--No tee pads, just packed ground.

Other Thoughts:

--The course is located at the Fort Shawnee Municipal Building and you park in the same lot as the local police station ;). The baskets are placed in an almost wide open field and run along a fence line with houses on one side, and backs up to a farm.

--It's listed as 9 holes because it has 9 baskets, but there are 18 tee signs so you can play the course as 18 if you want. (This can either be a pro or con I guess.)

--We stopped here on the way back from our Cinci trip, mainly because it had no pics and hadn't been reviewed yet. This is a beginner course all the way, I would not recommend anyone from out of the area to stop at this course if they even have moderate experiance.
