Tons of Potential! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 23, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

A lot of quirky little woods holes, with a few opportunites to air a couple out.

Hole 4 is is a really fun, scenic hole to really send one off the tee.

Holes 7-9 are my favorite, giving you a little bit of everything, from slight dog legs and elevated tee shots with a nice view of the pond, this was great way to end the round.

Cons:

The first 20 or so minutes was a rocky start, hole 1 was a little weird with a barbed wire fence to your right as well as glass and mini bottles littered all over.

It was very confusing trying to figure out how to get to the next hole, as we ended up bush pushing between the main road on our right and the pond on our left, with no evident path to the next tee in sight.

A map would be extremely helpful, as we were a bit confused most of the time on where to go. The flags were helpful in spots, but the signage and paths become quite confusing. Again, I am very aware that this is a project, and a map would be very ideal as this course (hopefully) becomes more permanent.

I am hoping between support from the community as well as the city, this could end up being a really solid spot.

Other Thoughts:

I am fairly new to the area, and I've been driving a decent amount outside of the city to go play. I was stoked to see this project is happening, so I had to check it out as it's only about 15 minutes from my front door. It is obviously not the easiest task to get a course started, but I think with more gaining interest and a little TLC from the city of Boston and its community, this could turn into a great course. This is a great space for a lot of really fun/challenging holes. Overall, I'm really pumped to see this place evolve! The space is a little natural gem in the middle of the city, I will definitely be returning hopefully weekly and I would be very happy to assist in any way possible to help make this course the best that it can be.
