this course is better than those old reviews 2+ years drive by

Pros:

This course has well defined fairways, from nice open holes that let you air it out to highly technical holes that reward you for having control and punish you for lack of it. The OB areas make for a more challenging round. Mandos also throw in an extra twist. The course is easy to follow and the course flows well getting the best use out of the natural terrain and foliage.

Cons:

The only con I could see being a con for anyone, would be that the fairways for hole 14 and 15 cross. This was not a problem at the tournament that was held there so it should not be a problem in normal play.

Other Thoughts:

A lot of work has gone into improving this course. Those of you who have shrugged it off need to get back out and play it again.

This courses rating needs to be reset since the course essentially had an overhaul in 2009

Pros:

This is an intermediate level par 55 course. I have personally redesigned the course to increase overall difficulty by adding a few mando's and more o.b. New Tee Signs and Concrete Tees have completed this course. Holes now range from 171' to 623'. Excellent use of available elevation and natural hazards.

Cons:

A bit of a long walk from 18 to the parking lot, mostly because Hole 18 used to be the 16th hole of the course until a recent partial re-design. Hole 17 and Hole 18 were removed, and Holes 14 and 15 were created in their place.

Other Thoughts:

As some reviews state that the course seems redundant with the availability of backhand hyzers on most holes, this is not entirely true. In actuality there are multiple lines available on most every hole that allow any player to have a fair chance at success on this course. There may be a RHBH Hyzer available, but is it the best shot for the hole?
