Pros:

This is a beautiful course designed around a man-made lake and was conceived by David Rehagen, owner of Gamers' Ranch, a huge facility for people who get together and play board games. The large concrete tee pads are made from 2 forms and have a rough surface to prevent slipping. The white Dynamic Veteran baskets catch well and are easy to spot in the woods. There is a lot of variety here; no 2 holes seem similar.Hole 1 is about 280 foot hyzer with the lake on your right. 2) about 200 ft over an arm of the lake. 3) A awesome view of the lake downhill about 450 ft to the pin on a peninsula. 4) 400 ft downhill over the lakes' edge to the pin guarded by trees. 5) uphill hyzer about 360 ft to the pin on the edge of treeline. 6) 350 ft downhill dogleg R then L; or try and blast a hyzer over the trees. 7) hyzer about 320 ft to pin in the treeline. 8) Across the road from pin 7, a 300 ft downhill 25 ft elevation to pin behind ---yep---Trees! 9) 280ft lefty shot trees on the right, flat. Now you can take a break if needed; you're back at the parking area. Hole 10) 270 ft hyzer to pin in the woods. 11) Very cool hole, 320ish straight and slight uphill, lake 20 ft past pin and nasty pile of dead trees if you shank it left! "Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!" 12) 250 over a pond and downhill to the left slightly. very fun. 13) flat, maybe 160 ft slight hyzer around a few trunks and you're there. 14) 602 ft over open field to pin tucked 20 ft in woods to the right. 15) 180 ft downhill tree tunnel straight ace run. 16) 140 shorty downhill left ace run if you hit the perfect line. .17) 220 ft hard dogleg right. think forehand spike. 18) 330 ft flat and straight, no trees. A very fun course that deserves a 4. Scenery is terrific, a wonderful job . Grass was nicely mowed; no tall grass or underbrush to hide discs

Cons:

No signs yet, David said they're on the way someday, but easy to navigate even without UDisc. Some of the shorter holes are eventually getting longer positions he said.

Other Thoughts:

Mr. Rehagen installed this course for the gamers to have additional fun outdoors, and because he loves and plays the sport too. He could easily make this a Pro level course, but wanted to keep it beginner-intermediate friendly. I highly recommend coming out here to this gorgeous property and playing. Please email him in advance and ask when you can play , then be punctual. Don't just show up unannounced. This is primarily for gamers, not mostly built for us golfers, so be respectful. The course description said Heavily Wooded;I disagree, only 4 holes are really in the woods. Pack a lunch, no food around here for 20 miles!
