Pros:
+Innova discatchers
+maintained & manicured
+mature trees and views of the columbia
+clubhouse things: restroom, beverages, drinking fountain, food, seating
+shot variety: length, left vs rights, some par 4s
+good flow (front/back 9 end/start at clubhouse)
+no places to lose discs (tho if you go over the fence, you may need to stop on a busy highway to retrieve disc)
+bench & garbage receptacle at every tee

Other Thoughts:
just 2 miles down the road from the free columbia park(river country) course there is a space dedicated to golf charging money to keep the riffraff out. with that money they keep it green, but the desert is hard to grow grass, so some spots of brown (mostly all brown in winter). spend some more of your money and you can get a motorized golf cart for those lazy days or to speed up your round. you can then invest more $ and load up your cart with some beers* from the concessions.(*other beverages, if beers not your thing) no discs, no problem, rent 3 discs for 3$.
the course uses what is availble w/o making it punishing. golf greens mostly don't come into play (no divots/tombstones on the green), but a few of the longer holes have the green just before the basket, making long arms think about drive placement. if your roller game is strong you will be pleased with these fairways. no real stand out holes; 10 uses the little bit of elevation (up), so then on 11 you get to throw downhill which is always fun. 11,12,13 play around this unmowed & unwatered (OB?) area that is kinda strange; it is a water feature that used to be there, but is no longer functional (no water). it seems every time I play here there is some sort of wind, so that will likely add to the distance of a lot of holes. it just opened so they're still tweeking the disc golf details; some mandos needed to restrict throwing over road/other fairways.
tee times rarely necessary; not usually busy, with the weekends busier, of course. a yearly membership availble for the locals that really like this course.
a few times I have seen & heard a hawk around the course & many a squirrel have been observed running between trees. the columbia river is right there too, so if backed up sitting on one of the benches you can space out looking out over the water.
being on a ball golf course has a different feel; though it's casual, it is a more formal setting than any of the other disc golf courses in the area; whereas, I imagine the ball golfers feel the complete opposite.
more options in the tricities is great
