Wide variety 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 16, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

-wide variety of holes on course (wooded and open)
-easy to find course
-access two courses from 1 parking spot
-water jug and cups at entrance to course
-well maintained and mowed
-great baskets
-most holes have benches at the tee pads

Cons:

-miss a shot, hit a tree, kick into deep woods
-some very thick brush can be hard to find a disc alone. Helpful to have friends
-navigation to next hole can be hard at times
-no maps of each hole at tee box. Can be hard to spot basket sometimes

Other Thoughts:

-first half of holes are in heavy woods
-second half of holes is wide open with long shots. Not much variety. But has some fun basket placements
-looks like a ropes course / military training course on the open holes

Nice Challenge in the Trees 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 19, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

Excellent course among the trees. Fun and challenging. Requires a lot of different type of throws and strategy.

2nd best wooded course I have ever played.

The pros are:

: Great concrete tee pads.
: Benches at almost every hole.
: Tee signs with distance and map at each blue tee. White tees have distanced painted on them.
: Good variety of shaped shots required.
: Nice variety of distances.
: Gets lots of play so the course is in great shape.
: Two other courses near by do lots of opportunities to play and work on your game.
: Blue tees are challenging but fun and fair.

Cons:

Holes 13 to 17 are just long hyper shots to get you back to the house. No variety and just the same shot over and over. When it is windy it is just boring disc golf. Actually I imagine it's boring even without the wind.

Even though I played the whites I can say that a couple of the par 4s are just too short from the whites.

Other Thoughts:

13 great holes and 5 boring holes make Preserve a great course that would provide great fun round after round. If I lived close I would play this course over and over.
