Pros:
Greenwood Parks and Rec did a great job with this layout as the disc golf course and other actives in the park wont get in each other's way. The park was very busy with softball games when I played, but Parks had plenty of room around the baskets of 8 and 11 roped off so there were no issues with cars.
There is a great mix of long open fairways and then some tight have to hit your shots in the woods. The addition of two tee pads for most holes make the course friendly for most levels of players.
The course is also very cart friendly which is a huge plus for me.
You can tell that parks has put in some work from the triple mando hole, different types of basket placings, signs everywhere to show you where to go, and adding a gap in the fence down the fairway on hole 2 so errant drives can easily be picket up. It all adds up to make the course excellent.
Cons:
There are a few longer transitions between holes, but there are a ton of Next Tee signs so you shouldn't get lost.
The rough can be pretty rough as this is a new course so it should get better with time.
Not a lot of elevation change, but this makes the course very cart friendly.
Other Thoughts:
Great addition to Greenwood and can't wait to see how this course develops over time.
