Fun Course! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 17, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Great tee boxes, the pavers are a nice touch.
- Map of course at hole 1 helps a lot with course navigation (make sure to take a picture)
- Well manicured and grass maintained.

Cons:

- Plays more to a lefty or person with a good rhfh throw. Only drawback for me as a beginner. My score will improve once I master the flick.

Other Thoughts:

This course plays great. Front six holes are relatively tight and it opens up from 7 - 18 for some bombs to be thrown. I recommend this course for anyone.

Greenwood Park 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 27, 2007 Played the course:never

Pros:

The course has a nice variety of shots, mostly short, but with many obstacles to fly around. Some opportunities for aces. Most of the course is in a wooded area, which is nice during the Louisiana summer for the shade. Some memorable holes are the 11th, which hugs a lake, and 13th, where the tee is located in a "fox hole".

Cons:

Watch out for poison oak and ivy. The animal noises coming from the Baton Rouge Zoo nearby might distract some players!
