Practice Area On Steroids (Kinda)

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 23, 2022 Played the course:once

Pros:

- For three holes, they made it as not basic as they possibly could with the tiny little space available.

- Nice downhill elevation shot with a pond on the left for the first hole. Second hole is a RHBH for shot and the third finishes off with an uphill shot back.

- Concrete grippy teepads which are nice and almost unnecessary considering its literally a 3 hole course but extremely appreciated none the less.

- Decent signage which shows the line to the basket and gives basic info. Again, very much appreciated even if it's a tiny course like this one.

- Great place to practice some putter throws on short holes that actually have some elevation which is a nice break from your average flat practice area.

Cons:

- It's literally just three holes that don't go over 200 feet. Nothing at all to drive hours or across states for.

- There's a serious chance of losing a disc on the first hole if your disc gets picked up by the wind and goes into that pond. It looked like a pond where you would pretty much not be able to fish it back out.

- Parking is literally just a street but I guess that's fine considering it's a tiny little neighborhood park.

Other Thoughts:

Grotelueschen Presidents Park is pretty much a practice area with actual teepads and signs. The park itself is extremely small so honestly, they did the best with what they were allowed to work with and I would be pretty stoked have this in my neighborhood to be able to test out new discs or just get in some putter practice.

If you happen to be in the area, this is a literal 5 minute course so course baggers and locals will probably be the only ones playing this one.
