Pros:

Beautiful location...
In the middle of a valley between mountains makes for a pleasant experience.

No OB..
At least for the tournaments...The course is hard enough as it is.

Very Challenging...Pros will love this course.

Course is in great condition.
since it is Private and a Temp course... The Cambell family do a great job getting it ready for the tournaments held there.

Cons:

Very Very challenging...
To the point of not being fun.
I'm a Rec player, and I did not enjoy the ridiculously hard course.
There seems one shot to be made off of each tee, and it needs to be perfect to be in position even for a par.

Very muggy in the summer. Most courses in a Valley setting benefit from some type of wind...Not here.

It is located in the middle of NOWHERE.
It's a 10 minute drive to get to a podunk gas station and 30 minutes to get to any food/lodging.

Other Thoughts:

Calling this a "moderately difficult" course is a stretch...
Even the designer has been quoted as saying...
"it's a par 61, but a 71 is a good score"

I recommend if you are a 900 and below rating, that you reconsider signing up for tournaments here...
Experienced players will enjoy the challenge...but if this were a permanent course there's no way I'd play it on a regular basis
