tough course! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 10, 2020 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Probably a great course for an expert disc golfer.

Cons:

Easy to lose a disc. Confusing layout and hard to navigate from hole to hole. Doesn't seem too well maintained. NOT for beginners or even intermediate players.

Other Thoughts:

Closest course to my house, so should play it more but I don't. Honestly, I don't find this course to be much fun - more frustrating than fun - but I'm a beginner/intermediate who is still learning the sport so it's a bit over my skill level. So, if you're a long-time player and expert, you'd probably love it!

Pros:

Good signage, with distances, and pin locations on a nice map, as well as a full course map at the start.
Practice basket with distance markers as well as a nice open area for distance throwing is great.
Course flows pretty well for the most part and utilizes the terrain very well

Cons:

After heavy rains some holes become flooded and unplayable.
Some walks between holes were a bit odd, some had signs while others didn't.

Other Thoughts:

Definitely a challenge to find it, tiny sign. tucked back on a gravel road. just keep an eye out and you'll be okay

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Aug 24, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

Innova Discatchers
Practice basket near parking lot
Decent flow from hole to hole once you know your way around
Concrete tee pads

Cons:

The roughs are ROUGH
Lots of Poison Ivy and Stinging Nettles
A lot of fairways are so wooded that luck is just as important as skill
Lacks elevation changes
Hard to navigate for first timers
No trash cans
No seating

Other Thoughts:

The current 4+ disc rating is a stretch.
I played with a card of 5 players ranging from a decent beginner to advanced and we ended up looking for discs on nearly every hole. That was with spotters.
The course has a little potential, but definitely needs lots of work.
