Fun on the River 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 17, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course in nestled up against the little miami river which is really nice. Very few trees in this course. It has a very nice pace of long to short holes. Very clean park, i was able to bring my family and they played in the park area while i golfed.

Cons:

There is only three wooded holes to which they are not really wooded you are just kinda throwing in that general area of trees. The very tall grass seems to be everywhere on every hole which can be daunting. It was almost as if even there were no trees to throw around, the grass was so tall and thick that it was even more of a burden to throw around then trees

Other Thoughts:

Great course to play a round or two if you have the time. Not too far of a drive from cincinnati.I will definetely play this course again!

Great Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 10, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Newer course, great concrete pads, well keep fairways, great mix of open holes and natural challenges. Great course for beginners to intermediate players

Cons:

Tall grass along many fairways make it easy to lose discs.

Fun Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 12, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

-Appears to be a very easy course, but the Out of Bounds can make it very challenging if played right.
-Good course to learn on (I did!)
-Located in a beautiful, well-kept park with a walking trail, baseball diamonds, and a playground (only the walking trail is a factor in the course)
-The best tees I have ever played on. They are concrete, long, and in good condition, perfect for a long tee-off

Cons:

-The par is ridiculously easy. I suggest playing everything either par 3 or par 4 depending on your skill level. (My boyfriend and I like to compete, but he can throw twice as far as I can, so that's how we account for that discrepancy)
-Not much variety in the first 7 holes
-Very easy to lose a disc, especially later in the season, due to the tall, thick weeds.

Other Thoughts:

This is a nice, fun course that is definitely worth a trip if you are in the area and want to have a relaxing game (unless you throw in the weeds..not so relaxing).

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 18, 2009 Played the course:once

Pros:

The lay out is very nice, they tees are in great shape, each hole is clearly marked with par, where the basket is, and where the next hole is. Even though it is wide open for the first 3/4 of the course, the high grass and bushes on most of the holes make for a nice out of bounds factor to avoid.

Cons:

Some of the holes could be longer. I'm not the greates player by a long shot and I can make eagles on just about all par 5s. This can make your game a little boring at times.

Other Thoughts:

If there could be more obsticles to deal with it could make the course a 5. But still a good course and worth playing.
