Solid course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 29, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Lots of shade
2 tees on all holes
Water and trees provide challenge
Plenty of benches and trash cans
Good mix of distances and elevation

Cons:

Missing 2 tee signs
2 mandos not marked on tee signs (holes 5 and 17)
Throw across parking lot on hole 16
Lots of non-golfers can slow your play

Other Thoughts:

As I live 20 minutes from this one it's my "home course" and the one I've played the most in my short time in the sport. It has plenty of trees for added challenge, as well as a pond that you can send discs into if you aren't careful. All in all, a pretty fun course.

A Good Starter Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 15, 2008 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

A good mix of lightly wooded, clear, and dense wooded holes, about 50/20/30%. A few real challenges present themselves, #3 is narrow with a creekbed immediately to the right and behind the basket, #13 is a densely wooded with a sharp dogleg left. Good course to start on with a lot of holes requiring accuracy above all else. Short and Long Tees available on most holes. Nice new paths and signs to direct you between holes. Nice scenic paths.

Cons:

Limited parking. Hole #16 crosses over an area used for parking for school events and could be covered in cars. Hole #17 is now difficult to navigate sue to a pavilion addition, used to be a long dogleg right but now may be a straight-shot through the woods. Could use more hole descriptions. No bathrooms.

Other Thoughts:

Bring someone with you who knows the course to avoid getting mixed up and not seeing baskets.

Hideaway 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 20, 2008 Played the course:never

Pros:

It is an easily accible course, and has plenty of chalenges. Although not needed in Jan. there is plenty of shade.

Cons:

No bathrooms. No drinking water. All holes are par 3(some are a lot more chalenging than others.Acouple of tee boxes are unmarked, causing a lot of unnecessary confusion.

Other Thoughts:

While I like a challenge it could do with a few less trees.

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 20, 2008 Played the course:never

Pros:

Nice quiet park to play in. Lots of obstacles to challenge even a seasoned disc golfer.

Cons:

Bring your hip-waders because there are a couple of baskets right on a huge creek, and although there wasn't much water there today it is still a very deep gulley. A couple of tees are not marked so if the course is unknown to you there will be extra walking involved to find them.

Other Thoughts:

I would recommend that if you know someone that knows this course, bring them with you and it will be a lot more fun.
