Ace Run Playground

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 30, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

- Quick, fun, good little warmup round before tackling the big bads.

- Ace run city. Literally every single hole is an ace run. Guaranteed to get you hyped up before playing the other courses.

- Rubber tee pads are more than good enough for this course. You can pretty much throw stand-stills on most of the holes anyways so cement teepads would just be overkill.

- It's free. No charge to play this course, although I doubt most people will be coming out here just to play this one.

- Night time glow round course is back at HH. This course is the final iteration of the Chestnut Grove course that used to be here.

Cons:

- Short, like, extremely short. That's pretty much to be expected though as this course is for beginners or children and people looking to warm the ol' arm up or just have a fun time running aces.

- Signage as of right now are just white PVC poles sticking out of the ground with the hole # stickers on them. Probably more than fine considering this is a very short course where the basket is only 100 feet or so in front of you.

- Navigation was a little iffy in a few spots to the point where I had to pull my phone out to bring out that one app that everyone seems to like so much. Once the course gets more foot traffic, navigation will be more obvious.

Other Thoughts:

Overall this is a great little free course and the final version of Chestnut Grove. It's definitely nice to have a course like this back at HH and hopefully this time it sticks around.

Like I said above, this is a perfect warmup course to get you hyped up for the journey you will have ahead of you if you choose to stay at Highbridge and tackle all 5 courses of the main courses.
