Alli-GREAT-or! 2+ years drive by

Pros:

This course is incredible! A very impressive layout by the designers forces you to use all of your shots as you play through the 24 holes. There were no boring or throw away holes. Each one had something unique, including a whole lot of water hazards! I don\'t get to throw over water very often at my home courses, so it really was quite thrilling and affected my play. The tee pads were concrete and the red tube was easily to find when searching for the next hole. The next hole signs at each basket made that an easy task.

Cons:

I have two cons: 1. The tee signs were very adequate, but could be improved by showing a map of each hole. There were only a couple of blind baskets, but nicer tee signs is an are of improvement. 2. This is an easy opportunity to really improve user experience. The water holes were fantastic... but, when a disc hits the drink, there were no tools available to retrieve it. Especially on holes 10-11, if there was a used pool skimmer type tool skid under the bridge, golfers could easily retrieve their discs and keep playing. As it were, we had to go hunting in a well-maintained park for long sticks and then mess around in the muck and mud to try to drag our disc out. This could have gone so much better with a provided pole.

Other Thoughts:

If you\'re visiting the area, you MUST stop by and play this course! It\'s beginner friendly with the white tee pads while also being challenging for seasoned players with the hazards and well designed layouts. Bravo to the local club for creating this masterpiece! One more note: kudos to a local player who was retrieving lost discs from the water on holes 1 and 3 this morning. He was an excellent concierge and got us pointed in the right direction, setting us up for an enjoyable round.
