Finding discs 8/10. There are a couple places where you could have to search for a bit (left on 4, 6, 7, or long on 5) but for the most part it's wide open.

Comfort while playing 4/10. The grass is mowed, but lots of playing around athletic fields.

Variety of distances 3/10. Holes 4 and 9 give you a bit of a chance to air one out a little (if the tee is where I played from at least). A couple shorter holes with good ace run chances.

Navigation 0/10. Tees are nowhere to be found, you just kinda pick a spot to throw from and go around the perimeter of the grounds. At least the baskets have numbers on them, but hole 3 and 4 both show a "3". Hole 9 is very far way from hole 8, on the other side of the football field.

Decisionmaking 0/10. The course is braindead, the only "risk/reward" would be the risk of hitting children if athletic fields are in use.

No alternate pins 0/10.

Baskets/Tees 1/10. No discernable tees of any kind. Baskets are rusted out with a single layer of chains, with many of them leaning heavily.

Variety of shot paths 1/10. Hole 4 has a dogleg left. 6-8 might favor a right to left depending on where you tee from.

Variety of openness 1/10. A few trees come into play around the edges of the course but for the most part it was wide open. Could play hole 1 as a three triple mandos with the bullpen if you want.

Use of obstacles 1/10. There aren't many obstacles period.

Challenging all levels 1/10. No one with any experience will find any challenge here. I'm sure it's intended for PE classes and it probably serves that purpose.

Course maintenance 2/10. They mow it, everything else is either falling apart or gone.

Amount of elevation 2/10. Some slight changes but flat for the most part.

As of the writing of this review, this course is the lowest rated on my spreadsheet out of 73. It's a stretch to call this a course, it's just 9 baskets scattered around a school campus. It's too bad because it seems like some of the area near the front of the school or further up the hill past hole 7's basket could have made a few decent disc golf holes. I'm not sure if the designer had access to this or not though.

TL;DR Don't bother coming here unless you want to pad courses played count.

There are at the very least 7 DISCatcher baskets here. The grounds were clean where there's not construction. It's free to play and in ground year round. As mentioned earlier, The parking lot is very spacious, This is probably the best pro for this course though.

Pretty much everything else. The baskets are aging. 5's basket is set at ground level which is kinda weird. Couldn't find 7 or 9's basket. The tee markers are pretty much impossible to locate. I found 4's and that's it. Just pretty much flat and boring as possible. Course just winds around athletic fields.

As Stardoggy said earlier, unless you want to play every course (me), don't even waste your time here. This is one of the worst school set ups I've played recently...well ever. Just in case you're like me and have to play here, hole 1's basket is located near the marshy area north of the north parking lot. You throw east to west toward it and then it plays along the edges of the athletic fields.

There's not much to put in here.

There's a little bit of distance...I think. I couldn't discern any actual tees here, so you kind of just follow the flow and play a sort of safari golf. Hole 8 gives you a nice opportunity to air it out...but don't flip it right, or it could end up on the 50 yard line.

Everything. This basically plays around the edges of the sporting fields. Hell, hole 9's basket is actually IN the football field fence. That's not confusing, it's just plain weird.

Apparently there's pavers in the ground somewhere to show tee pads. If you find them, let me know....they sound wonderful.

The baskets are rusty and can't be too far from falling apart. Hole 5 is missing the pole, and is just the cage and above set on the ground.

I'd like to believe these baskets get used by gym classes, but I'd be surprised. If there's anything school related going on, you're not going to be able to play...but you wouldn't be missing anything.

This is totally a bagger's course. If you don't care about playing EVERY course out there, don't bother with this. If you do have that need, make sure you stop at a very odd time, as to not interfere with any school activity.

The course plays around the athletic fields of a high school. A couple really small elevation changes come into play, but overall the course is flat. Fences and other athletic equipment make for some interesting obstacles, and trees come into play on a few holes. There are some shorter and longer holes offering some variety, and hole 3 offers a small dogleg at the end of the hole. The grounds are in nice shape, with no trash or vandalism around.

The course is too long for beginners. A school course is a great place for new players to try out the sport, but this much length can be pretty discouraging, especially when you might also have to walk a long way to retrieve errant shots from fenced in athletic fields. The tees are natural and poorly marked. The baskets aren't great, though they're fine for a school course like this.

There is no signage, so it's a little unclear at times where to go next, especially with a missing basket. The course isn't playable when other sports are going on, which could make it unusable for PE classes, and obviously unplayable during after school sporting events.

I always love to see school courses, it's a great way to introduce kids and the community to the sport. Unfortunately this isn't a great course for this demographic, with safety issues, and too much length. More experienced players will like a couple of the holes, otherwise it's pretty straightforward with no interesting challenges.

About all I can say for pros is the feel or concept of hole #1. That is, if you can find the tee brick by the tennis courts. The hole has you throwing over and along most of the length of a wetland style drainage ditch. It does fall short though because although the ditch makes up the entire left side of the fairway (once you cross it), the entire right side is a practice football field.

No tees of any sort. Just a paver in the ground that is VERY difficult to find. Only the hole number is written on it, no hole depiction, distance, or par.
Single layer chains on old rusty Discatchers. Basket #5 is gone, and #7 is all busted up and essentially has no lower pole.
The holes all play along practice fields, in the middle of a shotput area, and #9 green is actually inside the fence of the main football stadium.
Very little shot selection required. Throw left hand or right hand on every hole. Not a single real obstacled designed into the holes (other than avoiding the fields)
#3 is long and hidden and requires a 300'+ walk to even see the basket where you should be throwing.
#9 ends nowhere near #1.

Poor course. No design, thought, or skill required for virtually every hole.
Couple the poor design, crappy baskets, no tee signs, and one busted basket, with the fact that one basket is missing, you couldn't play this if any school activites were on the fields, and there is absolutely no challenge or beauty on this course, and after all my ranting, you'll have a BAD course!
It must just be in place for the kids to come out and play for gym class. We know HS gym classes aren't much into pushing the envelope with good design, scenic beauty, or challenging the kids.

What I personally like and how this course stacks up:
1) Holes with good risk/reward. Fair, but harsh punishment for bad decisions or execution. == D
2) Holes that have rewarding birdie opportunities for me. I throw 300' accurately, 360' max. == D+
3) More wooded than open - lots of variety of shots required caused by hole shape and topography == D
4) Natural beauty (Appalachian beauty preferred) and seclusion. == C-
5) Bonus points for multi-shot holes with defined landing zones, good risk/reward and multiple options to play them. == D

It's all about feeding the addiction, so I ranked this course subjectively based on my own "personal addiction factor". The grades above tell how well the course will draw me back to itself again and again and again. Since I have played a decent number of courses (125 18-hole, 64 9-hole as of mid 2009), my hope is that players/explorers who have similar addiction tastes will find my ratings list helpful as they choose courses to play and explore.

Over time, I expect to fill some of my reviews in with more descriptive verbiage...if what I can add anything to what has already been written. For now, my list is more important to me than the verbiage of my reviews.
