Pros:
- The disc golf baskets are nice. The chains are in good condition and they are easy to spot with clear numbering on each basket.
- Good mixture of short and long holes to keep it interesting. A mid-range or fairway driver should cover the long distance holes for reference.
- Free parking.
- Located in a nice area that is conveniently located to nearby shopping and food.
- This is at a school so when it's available to play (mostly in the summers), there shouldn't be many disc golfers at this location.
Cons:
- There are no tees to throw off at this course.
- The beginning of the course was a little confusing. The first basket is near the front entrance to the building. There was a fence to the far left that leads to the first basket. A little confusing where to throw but since there are windows, I moved past the building.
- There is no map or reference to where the baskets are. I took a walk around the field so I played every hole correctly.
- There were no obstacles at the course. All of the baskets are located in two or three large fields.
- There were no benches to take a rest.
Other Thoughts:
The course was fun and definitely a nice workout for only 9 holes. The school really utilized the space well. Teepads really are not an option as the course is on the school fields. There were zero obstacles so this course probably isn't meant for experienced players. The course could work well for a warm-up game or just to test out some new discs. Beginners may find this course useful.
