Hole tips

Tip #1
Tip by:Blobfish Added on: Updated on: Hole:#7
The tee for 7 is actually in the parking lot. It is marked. Stand at the basket for 6 and look straight out at the parking lot and you'll find it just across the road before you get to the first parking space. Beware the #7 basket. 7 is much tougher than 17 which shares this basket, but somehow 17 is a par 4 while this is a 3 even though their distances are comparable. DO NOT OVERTHROW your approach as it will end up in the creek. That's what makes 7 tricky. It's wide open on the drive, but beware your approach and putt.

If you can trust yourself to throw really straight drives, then go for the hole. If you can throw an anhyzer bomb, that's preferable because it gives you a better view on the protected basket. If you're a RHBH recreational player, try to throw straight over the campfire.

Tip #3

There is no teebox marker here, but you can see the teebox close to the #4 basket. The low hanging trees combined with the dense low growing palmettos make this a very tricky par 3. Consider a thumb roller if you get jammed and have to force your way through. But stay to the right side. If you play to the left, you'll get stuck behind a tall palmetto which completely obscures the basket. Finally don't overthrow your putt or you'll end up in the creek.

Like 4, there is no tee box for 11 anywhere to be found. I play 4 and 11 both from the same place, near the #3 basket. You're aiming for the #1 basket on this hole, so if you remember how wooded #1 was, you're better off staying in the open field and coming at the basket from the left.

#4 is a beast and I never found the teebox. It should be somewhere between the #3 and #8 baskets (8 is the basket closest to #3 along the creek). I've finally given up on finding the teebox and I habitually play 4 from between #3 basket and the creek, just as I play 11

The tee for #3 is behind the third baseline fence, it is pointed directly at the #3 basket which is wayyyyy out there.

The teebox for 2 is not marked but if you stand at the #1 basket and look to your left, you'll see it, partially buried in the dirt. Note that the #2 basket is behind the backstop of the field. Play your approach conservative, you'll have to stay behind the backstop, or even play off of it, just don't go to the right of it. On the other hand, don't go too far left or you'll be in the creek. Putt with caution on this one. You'll see it again on 14.

This is the par 5 but the length does not jive with the map. According to the map, 6 and 14 should be comparable in length, but 14 is listed as twice as long making the tee somewhere up by the church playground which I am sure can't be true. Play this hole straight but approach from the third base line to get a clearer line on the basket once you clear the fence. Don't come too far toward home plate or you'll have a tricky shot around the backstop. If you remember hole 2, you want to control your putts here, a slight overthrow can land you in the water!
