Another Community College DGC that could be much more... 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 30, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Excellent use of available elevation
-Holes #4 and #5 were unique and memorable
-Every hole had tee markers (except #3) and numbered pins
-Great flow to the course navigation was easy once we found Hole #1

Cons:

-No benches or trash cans
-Tee markers only had faded numbers, no other info
-Mostly flat with the exception of Holes 4-7
-Hole #13 throws over a road that is an entrance to the school

Other Thoughts:

Very typical Community College DGC. The course itself doesn't look like it gets much traffic or maintenance. The grounds are well tended and grass around the tees and baskets is kept short along with the fairways.
A course for beginners or intermediate players looking for a good practice course, but if you want a challenge or course with more accommodations head west to Tupelo for some higher rated courses.

Average course at best 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 10, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

Pretty open course with the only real distance throws on the first couple of holes.

Cons:

Not too challenging. First tee box was the only one with distance marked. Every other hole was simply numbered with paint. Couldn't even find the #3 tee box. No post or nothing!!! Didn't see any bathrooms nearby and there were also no benches or trash receptacles.

Other Thoughts:

If you live nearby and just need to get you disc golf "fix", then yeah I guess it would be worth playing. As far as driving out of your way to play it, don't bother.
