After passing by this exit nearly a dozen times on various road trips I finally found the time to pull off and play a round here and quite enjoyed myself.
-Nice, large teepads and new discatcher baskets
-Good signage showing all 3 pin positions with various pars based on pin position. There's also a Velcro marker for current pin
-Next tee signs in the bottom of each basket
-Plenty of parking
-Practice basket by the lot along with a course map.
-A nice variety of shots, including some lightly wooded holes. No true "woods" hole but enough trees to force a you to hit a line.
-Water carries but with the option to lay up safe if you don't feel like risking it.
-Some interesting pin placements that make putting a bit riskier. I noticed it most on holes 7 and 15.
-Lots of good amenities, including benches at each tee, trashcans throughout, bathrooms, shelters, picnic tables, on-site camping, water fountain near 8s tee, and plug in ports for EVs. Seriously some of the nicest features you could ask for.
-The park was well kept. The fairways were all mowed and the rough was never too bad, I even spotted a park employee out weed eating while I was there.

-The biggest complaint is the long walks between several holes. The worst offenders were 9-10 and 16-17, each of which required walks of over 100 yards to get to the next tee. While this is a fair trade-off to create compelling shots and avoid other park activities, it was still quite exhausting after awhile.
-Some holes started to feel repetitive. There were several holes that we most open 250-350' throws in a field requiring little more than a power hyzer.
-There were a few safety concerns. At least 2 holes played over roads (maybe 5 and 15) while several others were bordered by walking paths. Hole 7 may have a bigger issue, the ideal line on the second shot of the par 4 was most likely over a playground area. A few other holes have you throwing close to the RV park, which never seemed at risk of being in the way, but it was in your head.
-This park is very popular with fishermen. On at least 1 hole I changed my shot to play plenty wide of someone bank fishing. Be sure to share the space!
-The park is also popular with geese. There is goose dropping all over several fairways so bring a towel.
-I played on a fairly damp day and didn't notice any issues but I'm told the course holds water, so be aware of that.
-A few of the Velcro current pin locations markers were missing from the signs.
-Navigation is tough. I'd recommend using UDisc or taking a picture of the course map by hole 1.

I was tempted to give this course a 4 disc rating, it is quite good. If we had a more nuanced rating system I'd say it's somewhere around a 3.7 but the confusing navigation, long walks, and slight repetition ultimately landed me at a 3.5. It took me around an hour to play the course solo moving very quickly but I'd say a solo round would typically take around 1.5 hours here. Either way, it's worth your time.

Solid park style course in a pretty, well maintained, state park, with onsite RV camping. Conveniently located 5 min off I-75.

• Variety: good – Nice range of distances, with several holes long enough to let big arms have some fun. Fairly open, but enough trees force you to hit windows and shape some shots, with a few more moderately wooded holes sprinkled in. Not a ton of variety in terms of fairway shapes, but you'll throw more than just straight and hyzer shots. Holes feature rotating pin positions.

• Elevation: Decent – Most holes basically play flat, but enough holes feature enough elevation to make things more interesting.

• Challenge: Good - Will test your distance and decision making. Wind could easily be a major factor on some of the longer holes.

• Aethetics: Excellent - This is a pretty course that plays its way around a small lake that's the focal point of the park, with wonderful views of woodsy hills in the distance.

• Equipment: Very Good- nice concrete tees that are large and level. Dark blue Innova baskets are pretty easy to see and in new condition. Good tee signs are easy to spot from a distance, and have an indicator for current pin placement (unfortunately, the indictors are Velcro, and a few of them must have fallen off).

• Memorable holes: Good - Features some fun water carries, including 9, which forces you to hit a window at the end of about a 200 foot water carry. Hit the window, and there's a decent chance you have a birdie look. Miss the window, and you're likely trying to retrieve your disc. The other two water carries are set up so noodle arms can avoid the water by laying up in some way. Also features some par 4's (that big arms may feel are soft pars).

• Fun Factor: Good. - Although I prefer more woods than this course offers, I still found it to be a fun round, and think most players will have a good time here.

• Routing/Nav: Decent: Not too bad overall, but there are quite a few long, non-intuitive walks between holes. Don't recall if there were next tee signs, but glad I used U-Disc to navigate.

• Several of the back 9 play around the RV campground (which made me feel a bit like I was intruding), or bring asphalt into play, both of which were a buzzkill for me.

• Dry when I played, but you can tell: this is not a course that drains well. I wouldn't recommend playing here for couple of days after a good rain.

• The velcro pin position indicators on the tee signs could be improved. They were kind of hard to see, and a couple of them were missing completely.

• I don't think the bathrooms are open during the winter.

Really fills a DG void, because there isn't another quality 18 hole course for about 40-50 miles in any direction. It's not destination disc golf, but it's a well-executed course and a welcome break on a long drive.

#15's basket is only about 400 ft from the KY border, so you could safari a hole that plays from KY to TN, if you really wanted to.

A couple of the early holes had a 2nd, orange basket installed (in addition to the 18 blues).

If I could, I'd give it a 3.25 but I don't like to round up... so 3.0+
