Pros:
Very well put together
Great for practicing shorter throws/ a quick warm up before a round at the big course.
Great for quick one disc round. I play it a few times a week on my lunch break and can get 18 in with time to spare (I work 7 mins away)
Good flow with excellent use of the terrain and wooded areas allowing for a variety of shots.
Brand new baskets
Steps from a Dynamic Discs store that is full of anything you could ever possibly want or need. Including a friendly and knowledgeable staff who is always ready to give pointers or hook you up with new gear.
Cons:
Really not a con because they are coming but right now it has natural tee pads.
No real cons about it.
Other Thoughts:
It's a great addition to what is sure to be a disc golf destination in the coming years. The addition of this course is great and will grow the game by giving the newer or younger players a chance to build confidence, get a feel for the game, and learn a variety of shots.
Unlike most 9 hole courses this one really does a good job of putting the baskets behind trees, on slopes, around corners... etc.
I usually take one disc and only throw forehands or try shots I normally would not. It has really improved my game.
Plus you cannot beat having a legit disc golf store basically on the course. I think they would even loan you a disc if its your first time. They are awesome dudes that know everything there is to know about disc golf.
Throw 9 on this course then head over to the big course to test your skills.
