Pros:
- This is my home course, and how lucky am I!! Great course playing through a majestic tree filled park with hills and big valleys to throw over.
- Each hole has excellent concrete tee pads (with new tee pad signs!!!!!!!!!) as well as multiple pin locations, at least 3 on every hole which are changed quite frequently. This adds an excellent amount of diversity to the course because you could potentially play a different course each time you play.
- The course demands near perfection on most every shot. If you dont need to weave through huge trees, then you must clear long valleys and turn your discs perfectly to execute and score well here. Every hole is a par 3 and all but 2 give you a very good possibility to birdie or par on most locations.
- The people here are excellent. Very helpful, very understanding, very outgoing and polite. If you are new and need directions to a hole just ask anyone on the course and they will gladly help you and most likely offer to play with you to help you along the way.
- Every shot in your bag will be tested: hyzer, anhyzer, overhands, touch shots, deep bombs, controlled midrange/putters, everything you could want. And with the pins moving frequently, you get a great variety of shots every time you play.
Cons:
-Now that they have FINALLY put tee signs in, this, in my opinion, is a PERFECT course. I love nothing more than spending a day out here and playing as many rounds as I can.
Other Thoughts:
Wide variety of distances and shots, you will never be bored playing this course. One of my favorite holes is #3, when you have to shoot through a tunnel and over a valley at least 300 feet to just reach the first position. Believe me, until you step up to the tee, you dont really comprehend the hole and its difficulty. If you live in the STL area and havent played this course, get out there and play this course today. I guarantee you will be impressed.
