Pros:
Extremely well-manicured private course with caretakers on site. Great mix of native foliage and newly-planted citrus trees that will provide even more difficulty and routes as they grow. Cement tees and benches on all 19 holes, very easy to find the next hole. Design was set up to minimize walking in between holes and to save energy for more disc!
Cons:
It can be hot, temps in Nica are often around 90 degrees. Punishing jail, if you miss your route you will struggle to make par. Distance from my house in California!
Other Thoughts:
Such a great surprise to find a course in Nicaragua, a hidden gem. The course designer has been playing disc golf for 30+ years and definitely transferred some of the expertise into his course. A bar has been built and should be operable in the near future. You can hear the ocean throughout the round and there is plenty of shade. Great job Tony!
