-Jordan Creek is far from the only course to play through a greenway park along a creek, but it's certainly one of the best. It features a few true woods holes, a few park-style holes, and a dozen or so amazing holes with tree canopy, well-defined lines, and grass fairways.

-The course is tremendously well-designed. No hole felt like a filler, and no hole required an impossible shot. To put it simply, 6 holes were good, 6 were great, and 6 were exceptional. There is also a great mix of hole lengths. Up to six holes can play as par fours depending on the configuration.

-The layout begins with several relatively straightforward holes. It then begins to increase in length, elevation, and hazards, before crescendoing on the back nine. 11, 13, and 15 all give the opportunity to throw a driver 400'+ downhill through beautifully framed grass fairways, and 18 with the double creek carry is one of the most unique par fours you'll ever play.

-Jordan Creek has received a refreshment since the current photos were taken. Every hole is now equipped with DiscGolfPark tee signs and baskets which point you in the direction of the next hole. Aside from the long walk from 5-6, the layout is easy to follow.

-The course features three water carries (#7 and two on #18), all of which are reasonable. The creek also comes into play laterally or behind the basket on several holes. With the water, gorgeous fairways, mature trees, and rolling elevation, the place gets top marks for scenery.

-Practice basket and information board are located next to the parking lot. I think a much better location for the practice basket would be behind the first tee.

-Pace of play, even on weekends, is excellent.

All issues are rather marginal.
-The concrete tees are spacious, but several of them have started to tilt in the direction of the terrain.
-As with many older courses, Jordan Creek is very favorable to the right-handed backhand shot, particularly on holes 8-15.
-The fairways are generous on most holes, but the rough is thick and unforgiving for errant shots.
-The approach shot on hole #10 is absurdly uphill on a rocky slope and out of character with the rest of the course.

-For intermediate players, Jordan Creek is a great challenge to break par. For better players, there are plenty of birdie opportunities but no "gimme" holes. For newer players, however, the rough and water come into play far too often, especially with only one tee per hole. I recommend a prerequisite of being able to throw 270' relatively straight before playing here.

-Evidently, there have been some modifications to the course. Hole 5 is new and the only hole without a permanent tee. The old hole 5 looks playable (and fun) – not sure why the basket was pulled. Hole 6 now has two tees and two baskets – it can play as a par four or a par three. Hole 15 is not original to the design, making it easy to miss – relative to the 14th basket, the 16th tee is closer than the 15th tee.

-Jordan Creek was one of the host courses for the 2005 PDGA World Championships. The top 10 from that tournament were Nate Doss, Matt Orum, Barry Schultz, Ken Climo, Steve Rico, Dave Feldberg, Mike Moser, Kevin McCoy, Chris Heeren, and Brian Schweberger. This was two years before the introduction of the Innova Destroyer, and, as evidenced by the leaderboard, several years before the popularization of the forehand shot. In that light, this course was certainly a 5.0 back in the day. While it's no longer the best of the best, it's still a tremendous layout. Visiting town, I enjoyed it so much that I came back and played it again the next day.

Wonderfully carved out fairways.

Balanced shot variety (will require a solid backhand and forehand game to shoot well).

Excellent usage of features and simply picturesque. The designer must have taken their time and it shows.

Older DGA Mach Series baskets, they catch okay but make sure your putts are dead center.

Disc Fishers: if you lose plastic in the creek it is not surprising to see people wading through and snagging your lost plastic as their own. If safety permits and you want your plastic back bring a retriever and get it out ASAP.

Parking lot is a little small but is serviceable.

One of the OG tournament level courses in the LV area (also featured in 05 worlds). It took me awhile to articulate a review for this course because initially I hated it. I wanted to shoot well but I found it to be merciless and looking back I can only attribute that to my skill and not to the course. I still struggle to shoot well on this course and that is a testament to how well designed it is. Jordan creek is hard but fair. You will earn your birdies on this course and this course is remarkably balanced. Pretty much the entire course is under the tree-line and you will find yourself hurling plastic down these gorgeous alleys of trees. There are so many feature holes here with the cross the pond shot and mountain hole building you up to the big boy hole throwing across the creek twice on 18. The layout is quite long and there are a couple holes with some alternate pins or tee pads to cater to most levels of play. It has great signage and the general flow (apart from 15 which was later put in and up until recently wasn't well labelled). Similar to Nockamixon you will need every shot in your bag to pull off a hot round here and even the shorter holes require your full attention. If you only have time for one course to play in the LV area...this is the course to play.

- Can get really muddy with rain or snow

They are adding a par 5 in replace of the somewhat lacking current hole 15. This should really round out the course well.

The course seemed to slightly favor RHBH, but still had plenty of holes that finished to the right. There wasn't any HUGE ups/downs with the exception of hole 10, but the course still utilized the elevation very well. You'll throw up and down, but only once will it feel daunting.

The course had a good mixture of short and medium length holes, but as you'll see in my cons, lacked a sufficient amount of par 4's/5's for my tastes. Your tee shot must land within putting distance on almost every hole to play the course well, which doesn't put an emphasis on finesse, rather power. If the fairways were narrower in some places this wouldn't be as noticeable.

The shot variety, despite lacking many placement par 4's, was very fun. The course utilized water hazards very well. I believe hole 14 was the first time I've thought about throwing a forehand roller off the tee as my first option...I think you'll find most, not just some, of the shots to be very well thought out and memorable.

Hole 18 deserves it's own paragraph. It is one one of the best finishing holes in the game. A true par 4 that is probably rarely deuced. If you play it conservatively off the tee, you'll likely end up with a very nerve-racking approach, thanks to having to cross the "creek"(really a small river) a second time. If you don't have fun approaching that final basket, you should reconsider your hobbies.

The other amenities on the course were nice. Signs were informative and the tee pads were always big enough. Concrete as should be standard with courses of this caliber. From what I remember, there was ample seating throughout the course, but I can't recall if there were benches on every hole or not.

The most obvious con for me was the construction on hole 5/6. Obviously this is something that is in the process of being improved, but unfortunately I played it before it was finished.

Another major detractor, is that despite most holes being "longer" par 3's, and certainly not gimmies, the course is still very much a deuce-or-die type of course. I would have liked to see a few more par 4's/5's to help lengthen the course and to place more emphasis on placement.

Navigation was fairly straightforward but there were a few transitions which could benefit from some signs being added. Obviously the walk between current hole #5 (future #6, I think) and #6 (future #7) could use some signs. Most people would probably figure it out, but with a course this nice, there should be no doubt about where to go. Rule of thumb should be to take a non-dg player out and have them walk the course. If they stumble up somewhere, add a sign!

The fairways on some of the "open" holes were wide enough to almost be considered truly open, but not quite. You don't have any holes where you can work a disc left to right to maximize distance. Some people will find those few holes adequate, I felt a little constrained.

There are some rather thick spots on the course, particularly holes 9 and 10. If you find yourself off the fairway there you have a good chance to lose a disc. I'd recommend trimming those trouble spots up.

The course isn't exactly "accessible" to players Intermediate and below. With only one tee pad per hole and only a few alternate pins, this course is demanding and caters to the advanced/open players. This didn't personally affect me, but I always like to see great courses be able to be played by all skill levels.

Jordan Creek will forever be one of my favorite courses. Not for its difficulty (which is ample but not extreme) but for the sheer beauty and play-ability of this course. I expected the course to be pretty crowded, but to my surprise it wasn't. I'm not surprised in the least that JC was once host to the PDGA world championships. If you haven't played JC, don't hesitate to give it a shot, it's easily one of the better courses on the east coast!

Jordan Creek is attributed to an Eagle Scout who designed and built it to earn his badge, so to speak. Good job brother. I almost did a slow clap after the 18th hole. The long tees are concrete and have nice signs. The baskets were good quality also. Most importantly there are a couple of holes here that are incredible. The ones that are not quiet at that level are still solid and fun to play. The first several holes are in a mostly flat and grassy portion of the park. Trees are present in numbers large enough to make throw around them. Water comes into play to the left of the first hole, and with the creek behind the basket on 4. Hole 5 is long, and the creek plays to the right of the fairway and green. 7 is a fun throw over the top of a pond, and I stayed dry there. 8 gets more wooded, and elevation starts to show itself. 9 is one more big open crusher with the creek bubbling behind the green, before the real fun begins. 10 is the point where elevation climbs seriously, the basket up a hill that begins half way down the fairway. Rough to the right of the hill caught my drive and cost me a shot. The utility easement that clears the path up the hill on 10 also makes room for 11, 12, and 13, but heading downhill. 11 is long, and tucked in woods to the left. 12 is similar, but shorter in distance, and yielded my only birdie on the day. 13 is one of those that you have to toss more than one. Way downhill, basket dead center with water running behind it. There is plenty of airspace if your disc stays true, and you can get all 438' with the right stuff. 14 turns left and plays uphill again. Missed my putt, went from even to over par, and almost walked away without my mini. 15, 16 and 17 get back on the woodsy side, grass is replaced by dirt, rocks and the occasional fallen tree like the one I hit on 16. 17 also has some extra elevation contour and rocky outcroppings around the basket, I took another bogey. 18 is one of the best finishers you will find anywhere. Tee is elevated, and drops rapidly toward the creek about 30 or 40 feet below. You must drive across the water, which is fairly wide in this spot, and turn right at the same time to maximize distance. My forehand attempt stayed dry, but was short of the fairway. From there you still have a lengthy, wooded approach that crosses a smaller leg of the same creek. I made double bogey and shot a +4 (64) for the round. I would have liked to finish stronger, but at least I didn't lose any plastic, and had a really good time.

The front nine is a little more tame than the back, and not as exhilarating. It is still good, getting the most of what is there to work with. The media shows some pics with very long grass, but everything was trimmed very nicely the morning I played there.

Jordan Creek is a fun course, I would have liked to play it more than once. The 4.5 rating may be a touch higher than deserved, but it is so well done 4 was not doing it justice in my opinion. I'm not the only one who thinks so, many other reviewers before me agree. If you haven't been I suggest you go if possible, and find out for yourself. Really a gem, recommended to all serious players.

That's about all as far as cons for me.

I learned how to play on this course, probably not the best choice but I didn't know any better at the time. It does take a little longer to play as it is a pretty long course but it is a great course overall. One of my top three in the Lehigh valley easily.

Nice course layout. Nice use of the terrain. Good mixture of some open holes and some with a little more woods.Concrete tee pads. Looks like they keep the course in good shape.

Only thing I can think of is some of the holes show 2 different baskets but I only ever saw one on those holes. Course can be tough for newbies like me.

Really nice course and glad it is no too far from my house so I can get there and play it. Hole 7 over the pond is tough for new players as you have to clear the water. Hole number 10 is really tough one up the hill.

Great Layout, It's got a good mixture of open holes, up hill holes, down hill holes, water holes and lots of Left & Right grassy fairways. White Castle not to far away.

Pond is a disc eater! Can get muddy here. The 1 extreme up hill hole is very hard!

Left Handers will do better here.

- Lots of different looks off the tee.
- Rewards control and shot-shaping more than huge drives.
- A beautiful park.
- Fun finishing hole.

One of the best courses I've ever played. I'd go more often if I lived closer. It's a really beautiful-looking course.

Jordan Creek gets an A+ overall because of factors not limited to tee areas that are in good shape, great signage, easy navigation, a large and spread out course design that plays mostly through open woods and the occasional field, a good mix of par 3's and 4's both long and short, a wealth of drastic elevation changes, and good pin positions that are both fair and challenging.

Another sign of a great course to me is when I can call almost every single hole memorable, which is the case with Jordan. If I had to pick favorites, Hole 5 is really nice, playing through a tight initial column leading out of the woods opening up to a field that basically borders the yard of a house off to the left, with Jordan Creek flowing to the right. Sometimes they have an alternate basket across the creek, which ups the par by a stroke and IMO creates the best version of this hole. Hole 7 forces the tee shot to make it beyond a big pond (be careful!)--I love it when a hole forces you to play over water--to a small grove protected by trees where the two basket positions reside. Hole 8 follows this up with a nice snaking fairway through light woods to a hilltop basket, a great hole on the subtler end of the scale. Hole 10 welcomes you to the back 9 with a small mountain to climb, introducing big elevation to the course. This tee shot requires a big RHBH anny for most throwers, but it can be tough because the big wide path you'd like to take won't quite work because of the initial tree tunnel. Holes 11, 12, and 13 present a string of wide tunnel shots giving room for a long throw with one being uphill, one relatively level, and the last down a big hill. Hole 14 scratches the same itch as Hole 5 does for me, a beautifully designed hole that doesn't boast anything in particular, but it's a subtle gem playing through open wood with thin trees dotting the fairway that stretches slightly uphill and left to a hillside basket. Lastly, Hole 18 is a boss of a closer. The ideal tee shot is a RHBH anny that travels down a large hill over the creek and banks right to a landing area. The next shot (or 2 hehe) forces you to hit a gap of choice through trees and over a creek for a second time to the grove containing the basket--the most challenging hole on the course.

An added bonus is that Hole 1 and 2 form a small loop right at the parking lot, so you can play these again after 18, since you practically have to stumble over them to get to your car. Who wouldn't want to make it a 20 hole day?

Sometimes, this course requires you to coexist with dog walkers, hikers, and bikers since there is a large trail intertwined throughout the course. Usually it doesn't pose much of an issue. To my knowledge, there wasn't an available bathroom near the parking lot, but I am not 100% that I didn't simply miss it. The course is in a busy suburb, so it can get crowded on the weekend sometimes, but with most epic courses, there's no avoiding this reality.

Jordan Creek is a slice of heaven for disc golfers. In the hour radius around Philadelphia, I put this course right up there with Tyler, Nockamixon, Camp Sankanac, Iron Hill, and Carousel. There's really not a lot that could better the design here. It has a wealth of variety hole to hole, demanding a large tool kit of skills for most facets of the game. The course plays through a large park that traverses by houses, along rivers, up and down hills, through woods, across bridges, by a pond, along hiking/biking trails...overall a great representation of our sport to those unfamiliar with disc golf. For me, Jordan is over an hour away, but I'll be making the trip at least a dozen times a year.

Fantastic 18 hole course. At the current time, holes 1 and 2 are back in business. Overall, the tee pads and signage are great. There are some truly signature holes here: 7 with the throw over the flooded mine shaft, 10 with the huge elevation change, and 18 with a throw over two water obstacles. The scenery is beautiful, fairways well maintained, and obvious constant care. The presence of a practice basket is also a nice amenity. I look forward to coming back to try all of the different pin placements. I have only played twice at this time, but already have experienced the variety that is offered here. Although there are walking and bike trails, it appears that disc golf is the most prevalent activity here, and it feels like the disc golfers own the land and it's more a case of bikers should watch out for disc golfers than disc golfers should watch out for bikers. Nice use of elevation, woods, and open areas to create some variety. Picnic benches at tees are also nice (minus the obscene graffiti).

All the pin positions are marked on the tee signs, however, it isn't always obvious which pin is currently in play. There are a few holes that are similar (11/12, 15/16).

All in all, a great course that adds to the Lehigh Valley experience. In my mind, Nockamixon ranks higher simply due to the greater variety of holes present there. Jordan Creek is a little easier of a trek, and does have better signage. One nod to Jordan Creek is the absence of monster par 5's, which as a beginner, I appreciate. The rough here can be really rough in spots with respect to thorns, so be careful. I consider myself a beginner and find this course enjoyable, though difficult at times. The pars are all very fair in my opinion. The care that is taken on this course is evident. Making temporary holes to grow grass on existing fairways, that's crazy! (in a good way)

Excellent use of landscape. Each hole is much different from the next. The hole across the pond, the hole across the basin, the hole up the hill and the last hole are top notch. Everything is extremely well maintained and the park is beautiful. The concrete tees are a huge plus and the sign and easy navigation are great as well.

Holes 1 and 2 were temporary due to some issues but the temporary holes were better than most other courses anyway. Hole 3 sign showed an alternate basket but it must have been taken out due to trout season.

This course is great. It is of the highest calibur but a bit more forgiving than nockamixon. I will be returning very soon.

This course maintains a 5 rating in my book because of the consistent, if not improved, play of the course with each visit. Wooded and open play, variety of shots and pin positions, scenic appeal, mulch laden pathways, rubber tee pads, water hazards, and an abundance of signature holes are all pluses. Relatively no artificial OB. The Lehigh Valley Disc Golf Club signs are some of the better ones I've seen while navigating

A few similar holes (11-12 mainly). 7 can be challenge to play due to flooding after heavy rains.

The club has done a fantastic job preparing the course for the season with new pin positions and beautifully manicured mulch surrounding formerly wet tee pads and walk ways. The quality of the course continues to improve from year to year, and that can't be said for all courses in the region

Concrete Tee Pads, Beautiful Tee Signage, Extremely well manicured course. This course is very challenging and will require a wide variety of throws plus the right choice in disc. This is not a beginner course at all! Course is absolutely beautiful hands down! This course uses everything from water hazards to massive elevation changes to nice open fairway shots and tight wooded shots. Picnic tables throughout course along with trash cans and other benches. Par 58 which is not an easy task. The locals definitely take pride in this course and it shows! Hands down the Lehigh Valley Gem!

Course can get crowded at times with large groups playing. The park overall can become crowded but that is because it is a beautiful park. You have everything from walkers, joggers, bikers, fisherman, and of course disc golfers. As far as I'm concerned with this course there is not one "Con" i can think of.

I am lucky enough to live in the Valley and play this course a few times a month. I would highly recommend this course to anyone willing to travel or passing through the area. You will not be disappointed!! Easily one of the top rated courses on the east coast in my opinion.

Long distances. You'll get your practice in on this one. Some par about half and half par 3's and 4's. This is a very hard course and not for the faint of heart. Some VERY cool holes thought. One that forces you to throw over a pond. One that goes up a very steep incline.

Some of the fairways are narrow and if you send a disc too far either way, you might lose it. It's the in the middle of a very heavily wooded area so when you do send a disc off course, it's difficult to find. But, that comes with the territory.

As a beginner, I found myself not keeping score after the first 9, but still fully enjoyed the course. The sun was starting to go down and in the forest the sun goes down even quicker, so I was not able to finish, unfortunately.

-This course makes you use every type of shot you have
-The signage is beautiful
-The course is well groomed and it's obvious that the local disc club takes pride in their courses
-Great use of elevation and water
-Course is relatively easy to navigate. Just follow the paths.
-Nice tee pads
-Great mix of short holes and long holes

-While pulling discs out of the river is easy, once a disc goes into the pond on #7 it's pretty much lost, unless you have a floating disc.

My group of 4 had a great time playing this course for the first time. If we are in the area again we will be sure to play again.

Been playing this course for years and saw some of the changes they have made and I must say they are for the absolute best. The course has come a long way and it now is up at the top for must play disc golf course in eastern PA. Nice stretch of open holes and wooded holes with some nice water holes thrown in. Pretty much everything you want in a disc golf course. Props to Lehigh Valley Disc Golf organization for keeping this course in great shape.
If your traveling a distance to play this course make a day of it and play Little Lehigh Parkway and/or Nockamixon State park.

-A gem of a course that insists that the player execute a wide variety of shots
-Beautiful natural setting with a creek, a mountain and woodlands
-Good tee pads and signage
-Lots of benches, tables and trashcans throughout
-Excellent fishing on Jordan Creek

-Can get very busy, especially on weekends
-Multi-use park, lots of bikers, dog walkers and fisherman
-low lying holes can be muddy
-An arrow would be useful on one or two holes for first timers

Jordan Creek is a definite must play. It is a challenging course that isn't too long or obscenely difficult. Its tough but not overbearing, as an above average rec level player I enjoy playing it.
If it rained recently be aware that there will probably be mud present.
There are lots of unique holes present throughout this course, with #7. #10. and #18 being my favorites.
Just play it, you will thank me later

This was my favorite course on my Eastern PA DG trip. The first thing I noticed was the well-maintainted grass in the lightly wooded areas. It really made a beautiful fairway with a tree canopy.

Other Pros:
-easy and logical navigation
-informative tee signs
-variety including: distances, wooded/open, elevation, turns, hazards, risk/reward
-awesome, big tee pads!
-picnic tables at the tees are a nice touch

Not too many:
-mountain bikers were evident on a few holes but there really wasn't any other park goers besides them to avoid
-not for beginers is relative (once you have a bit of control you can enjoy the course)

The water comes into play on several holes. The creek is an easy retrieval if the water is what I saw it at (I imagine large rain fall can make it difficult.) Hole #7 is a throw over but it's 243 ft. and you do get to throw from a hill but there is still a nice risk/reward. Every local I ran into was very friendly which is always a plus. I can't wait to get back there!

A chance to throw just about every shot in your arsenal. This course has challenging holes that require finess and wide open let er rip holes that are fun! Well maintained, perfect equipment and the concrete tee's are all in tip top shape. Hole ten starts off the back 9 with a fantastic uphill basket that takes a little care.

Hole 7 is an expert level water challenge hole with a stagnant pond to throw over, many holes offer medium to dense brush along the edges of the course and it is easy to lose discs, hole 18 is another expert hole with a significant water obstacle.

This course is the best in the Lehigh Valley that I have seen and is mhy personal favorite. It has the full range of challenges that a disc golfer wants in a full 18 hole round of DG. Uphills, downhills, open fields, advanced water in play, even some wooded technical terrain. All around great course!
