Pros:

Randy Jury

Cons:

Temp baskets get knocked over by the cattle
tee signs also tend to get knocked down

Other Thoughts:

Randy invited me to come play his course when he found out I was playing all the courses in Oklahoma. I was an honor that he let left the gate unlocked for me and let me map out the course while playing it. I know he runs some events out there but I don't know how often he opens the course to outsiders. You will have to contact him to ask.

With that said, Randy sent me a hand drawn map of the course, he said he checked to make sure the tee signs and baskets were up before he left for the afternoon.

I really enjoyed playing this course, while it did have a couple of ridiculously long open holes, they were not boring at all. One went over a hill, then back down the other side to a basket hidden behind a tree. The other longer hole was over and down a hill to a small grove of tree's. Wind was a factor.

There is a large pond in the middle of the course, 2 of the hole throw out to peninsulas. This makes accuracy a must, overthrow, turn over or hyzer out and your in the pond.

Even hole 5 throws over the edge of the pond, 387 ft to the basket, most of it over water if you go for it. Hyzer out and your wet.

Hole 6 was a 325ft hole with a raised basket on top of a spindle One of those things that electrical lines are held on.

Hole 7 tee's off across the pond from the dam. A 310ft shot, but you better not be short.

Even holes 8, 9 and 10 throw round or near the pond.

when you get over to hole 12, you work your way back though a tree area. Hole 12 has a clowns mouth mando.

Hole 14 is a super tight fairway though the woods.

Hole 15 is a hard dogleg left though the trees behind the dam.

Hole 17 has to be my favorite of the course. Over or though a gap to a clearing, but the basket is down a hill with an OB creek on your left. You literally can not see the basket till you walk to the edge of the hill. You need spotters to really go for this hole.

Hole 18 throws up to the open fields, but you can't see the basket, or fairway for that matter from the tee.

In general, this is a good course, it does have temp baskets and grass tees. but then it is a private course too.

Would I play here again? Yes, I want a chance to redeem myself, I would love to play a tournament here.

FYI, I asked Randy if I could list his course on DGCR, he said he didn't care so here it is. I did map it on UDisc for him as I played it, that way others can find there way around using the app.
