Pros:
- 32 holes, some with multiple tees mean that the round is as long as you want
- Lots of effort has gone into building staircases and maintaining the course
- Exceptional back 15 holes contain some of the most epic elevated tees I've ever heard of
Cons:
- Slippy when wet
- Some of the baskets are the originals and don't catch amazing
- The "par 6" is just a pro-level par 5 designed ages ago
- The best holes are the last ones, and I was tired by the time I got to play them
Other Thoughts:
It's well worth a visit, even if you don't care for the history. The cafe around the corner by the river (overlooking the huge bridge) has amazing pie!
